Guns kill people like pencils cause bad spelling. Guns don't do anything by them selves except make a good paperweight.

Taking guns away from people will not STOP CRIME because the only guns taken away will be from law biding citizens who have theirs legally registered. But a burglar standing outside your home will think twice if there is an "I SUPPORT GUN RIGHTS!" sign in the front yard.

Tha man in the article went to kill his ex. Plain & simple. If he didn't have a gun he'd have used a knife, crowbar or choked her with bare hands. (Can't regulate THOSE!)

I agree with the pro firearm lobby here and thank you for your effort giving the facts and statistics. Only regimes where gun control really works are brutal dictatorships like Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany and Saddam's Iraq. No crime there. But the price for it? Don't even ask. And the sole purpose for these regimes to restrict access to the guns is obvious - no revolt.

Look at todays Libya. If the Eastern part army did not revolt and help the protesters they would be slaughtered like sheep the same way they were in the west of Lybia.

But we are forgetting the main reason for this tragedy of bad boy killing his wife. Bad boys are nothing more than AFC only they don't turn Nice but the opposite. It is the same as in political spectrum....Communists and Fascists....they look different, they talk different but the outcome is the same because it is based by the same character flaw. Frustrated, narcissistic, opportunistic motherf@ckers.

Bad boys shoot women and Nice Guys help to make castration laws.

Other historical examples is the Gulf of Tonkin incident that started Vietnam war. United States setup the whole incident and started a war for political reasons.

Another good one is USS Liberty. Israel attacked the ship and killed 34 American crew men. Apparently in order to blame Egypt and get United States involved.

Comparing Nazi Germany to democratic USA and democratic Israel is somewhat overstretched. You can't put aside the nature of each states, historical circumstances and their motives. You also have to see the outcome. Comparisons like this are called being a demagogue.
And what are trying to say? That USA is brutal dictatorship, planning to seize absolute power over world and exterminate all lesser races? Or that USA is run by Jews who want to exterminate all other races? In that case I see the USS Liberty sinking a bit odd. Or not but the US reaction then seems odd...they should go along with it and blame it on Egyptians.
It is just stupid. In Israel and in USA is democracy....not a perfect one but the best there is. And you simply cannot conspire in democracy....it doesn't work like that.
