Male-to-Female ratio in clubs

In most nightclubs that aren't holding events specifically catered to women, what do you think the usual ratio of men to women is?

12:1 male to female, every photo I have taken at the club the men significantly outnumber the women and it only gets worse as the night goes on

About 2 hours ago the long line outside a club I passed by had a ratio of about 1.5 men to 1 woman. This is what I would consider a bad ratio.

It depends on:

Location in terms of city/country
Location in terms of socioeconomic level
Time of the night

The best ratio you can get is in upper middle class places in eastern european cities in early night while the worse one is in southern european lower middle class ones at late night/early morning.

For those who had the "pleasure" of visiting clubs in rome or athens, it's hard to tell if it's a normal club or a gay club for men based on demographics.

I would say its 10:1 in crappy places, 4:2 in decent ones and 3:5 in great ones.

Right now even tought not as much as the previous decades you can still get decent ratios in polish and czech bars/clubs up to 2am.

Was at the biggest club in south of Sweden on New Year's Eve. Massive outnumbering of men against women, many lone wolves. All men appeared thirsty, hyenas. There's nothing wrong with them, though perhaps not that sophisticated, I think women want more beyond what guys want, porn. But where the hell are the girls. I don't know, Netflix and ice cream, and their validation and attention need saturated through notifications.

A girl I spent the Christmas holidays with said she've had bad experiences with Tinder. I think social media/apps have turned both women and men into neanderthals.

In the USA, the general ratio on Hinge/Bumble is 2:1 male to female. On Tinder, it is 3:1 male to female.

Most USA bars/nightclubs in bigger cities will have ratios better than the Big 3 swipe apps. I would say a 1.5-2 to 1 male to female ratio is common in USA nightlife venues in bigger cities.

Sure, but my experience is that the girls get hit on all the time so they're completely oblivious to it. I think it's very limited what you can do to distinguish you from another guy on a loud, crowded dance floor or bar section. In the club I was on on New Year's Eve I think very few pulled. Having some degree of denial here.

Are you in the top 30% in terms of height, hair and looks?

Thats all it matters in a fast paces loud place like a club...given that the girl is receptive cause all the men (those better than you included) already made a move on the most attractive ones.

Just like not all men come equal in that environment so do the women...we all chase the hot ones that give sex vibes not the ugly ones or the ones that seem not receptive for intimacy that same night.

They literally have to let women in for free since so few of them go to clubs, clubs are almost always sausage fests. They have to beg women just to come.

I've seen many Club ads that say "women drink for free".

it's weird tho, all these chicks seem obsessed with clubbing on social media especially in the uk/us. You think it might be regional? or just them being dramatic lol

It's awful in every metropolitan city in the USA.
The times were a lot different before the rise of Instagram.
It's too much effort for women these days to dress up and leave the house.
They can get all the validation they need from the Internet whilst sitting at home dressed in their pajamas.

It works the same way in college. Frat parties let women in for free, and us guys gotta pay $15-20. Complete extortion imo. Especially when you get scammed for even more money at the door for “not paying early enough” by greedy frat bros.

A lot of fraternities won't even let in non-affiliated men. If a man can pay $15-$20 to get into a frat party, that's not awful. Fraternities often set up their parties to be the fraternity men, their partner sorority women, and some unaffiliated women.

Reminds me of a time I took a woman to a sausage fest bar. First date. Dinner first, then the bar. It was very cold winter, so I dropped her off at the door and went and parked, which was in a parking deck next door. I told her "get out your phone, and when you get just in the door of the bar, start a stopwatch timer. We are gonna see how long it take you to get hit on before I get in there, when the sausages see you alone." She went along, reluctantly. It was like 3 minutes and some seconds for the first simp to attack. When I got in there some simp was talking to her, and I grabbed her hand, said "hey what's going on" to the simp, and walked away with her. She was laughing so hard at this, and even said "I can't believe you let me do that, you are brave". Showed her I was confident. Later that night we were making out on the dance floor and got asked to leave. I think the sausages were all just frustrated and one of them prolly complained. Could have been the first simp. Not sure.. So... we went back to my house and the rest was history. Fun night at the Sausage Bar!!!
