"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Alright that sounds strange, I admit. Male beauty tips. But listen, hear me out guys. These are just a few things I was thinking about. After reading a few of the posts here they brought me back to my old h.s. days and I remember that alot of the problem for a lot of guys is actually physical. Or if not physical it's self-consciousness over physical things. Now you may have some of these problems, you may have none. If you have none I congratulate you you're a far better looking dude than I was in h.s. But if you have some of these problems, I just want to take a few minutes of your time, if I may, to tell you about a few products here which you now have access to (and incidentally guys my age did NOT when we were there; all we had were those damn "salicylic acid" pads, you know the ones, OXY, Stridex, etc.)

Alright anyway. Gentlemen. The list:

1) The do . Do something about your do. Look at it and be honest. Is it good hair or lousy hair? If it's good and thick ( I assume most of you will all still naturally have thick hair), but it's not styled real well, save up some buckaroos and go to a really nice salon for a styling. They'll cut it right for you, and show you how to style it, even sell you some product to put in it to give it that spiky look some of the young guys seem to like. But note here: take a shower and wash that stuff all out before bed. It can cause breakouts; the hair product that is. If your hair's just lousy, thin, wispy , whatever, not easily styled like this, then go with the very very short military style buzz almost shaved-headed look. Brad Pitt does it. It looks great and it's very modern as well. Huge in Europe. The shave. If your beard is weak, just look at it and face it if it is ; like if it looks more like pubes than a real man's beard, get rid of it totally every time it even comes close to growing out. A weak beard is a big turnoff to chicks.

2) The specs. Unless you have really cool specs, that are like "part" of your whole overall "look", probably best to get contacts if possible. Some guys can wear glasses well, again cool looking glasses, some just can't wear them at all. Look at yourself , if this applies to you, and be honest.

3) The skin, mainly the face. This is a big problem for most h.s. aged guys, as I know it was for me. I didn't have "bad" acne but just the occasional kind, enough to embarass the sh*t out of you all day long. You know what I"m talking about. Also, something that seems to go along with that; the grease. Do you grease up during the day?? Most h.s. guys , and girls even, do. I'm full blooded Italian so I was a greaseball , particularly in h.s. But . The good news about this is now you can blast this problem out of the water. I recommend Biore cleansing cloths (get the ones WITHOUT the salicylic acid in them ; sal.acid , as found in Oxy, etc, only further dries the skin and creates even MORE oil within an hour or so at most). These Biore things come in a white rectangular box and can be gotten at your local Walgreens. You can carry them in your backpack. A quick trip to the mens' room before class, break one out and wipe your face off real quick, clean out your eyes with a piece of t.p. or a kleenex, and you'll look fresh as anything when you walk into class and that hot chick you like sees you. Also, as a facial soap, never use hand soap firstly. I recommend, again as an oil-stopper, Biore oil-free "shine control" face wash. Very effective. Use it in the morning at least. At night too if you tend to breakout often. Otherwise a full washing twice a day is not necessarily the best thing for your face as , again, it tends to cause the overproduction of that oil. For zits (they happen), try a product called "Zapzyt". You put it on and leave it overnight. You'll notice a great improvement. This is a little sick here, but don't touch , pick on, play with, or in any other way F with, any zit that does not have a clearly visible white head. You will make a mess. A mountain out of a mole hill . And you could even leave a scar. ( I have). With those , just keep at the Zapzyt treatments, twice a day. Also don't F around squeezing your pores to remove blackheads. You can badly damage , abrade, your skin. Use , again Biore, pore cleansing strips. How to use them is on the box and anyway it's self explanatory. Try to hit a tanning bed about once a week. UV light helps prevent breakouts . Also it gives you some color, which looks sexier, ask any chick.

4) The bod. I'm not a big gym rat. Alot of girls don't even dig guys with tons of muscles. I myself just do push ups and a few sit ups or as many crunches as I can. And maybe pull up some dumbbell curls. That's about it for me, and it should be enough to get/ keep you toned a little too. If you have a serious weight problem however see a dietician or other specialist. Trim the underarm hairs. You don't want to look like you've got Buckwheat in a headlock every time you put your arms down. Plus less hair there makes you likely to smell less. Buy a body spray, like Axe or Old Spice, for after gym or freshening up during the day, since you can't shower, but use it lightly as it's strong. Wear clothes that fit and look good (take an older sister if you have one, or a female friend, and buy a few outfits for school / social use). And keep that posture strong and alpha looking. Straight back, stomach in a little bit, a little bit of a confident kind of "spring" to your step. Oh and smile. Displays confidence. :D If you tend to look tense or angry or serious all the time or whatever (ask your friends if you look this way; they'll tell you) , actively work on loosening up your eyebrows and your jaw muscles (don't clench). This makes you look more approachable and less cold and "aloof". I had to work on this alot too. You're just going to class after all, not heading to your sentencing hearing. A nice cologne is good too, again in moderation, don't bathe in the stuff. D's recommendations: Hugo, by Hugo Boss; LeMale , by JeanPaul Gaultier; CKone is a classic, as is CoolWater; for big nights, like homecomings or proms or real heavy dates where you're going to be really dressed up, Yohji , by Yohji Yamamato, or L'Eau d'Issey, by Issey Miyake , are both good choices. I've gotten alot of compliments when I've worn those, particularly the Yohji.

Good luck and go easy on the young ladies. ~D

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Is this supposed to be tips to prove or disprove,?

Or is it a recommendation on how to attain male beauty?

I give you props for the tips!

On the requirement of looks being your biggest problem in HS, I give you an F, reason being, you can get an army buzz and wear the same uniform every day and you can avoid any problems outside of your phyical stature and facial deformities in terms of looks.

Excellent.

Maybe add something about bodily hair if you could. I shave my chest, trim crotch, and leave arms and legs alone... how about everyone else?

Good work man,

The sad thing is that in highschool looks are important. Alot of girls don't need anything other then the physical stimuli to fuk a guy, so don't handicap yourself and do your best to be that guy.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

A few other things

Since I wrote that post early in the AM hours yesterday, and I was doped up and really talkative / typative (is that a word) from Xanax , I forgot a few things in my excitement. Alright, body hair. It's a very subjective area. Some girls like it , some don't. I would say, if you have "weak" chest hair, for instance, and you're going to be going to like a pool party or somewhere where you can go in a jacuzzi or something, just shave it off. Otherwise if your chest hair's pretty decent-looking just leave it alone but do trim it if/when it starts growing out of line. You can trim your arm hair too if the hair starts growing all wacky and out of line. But don't shave your arms. You'll look like you have no balls. The region where the crown jewels are kept tends to be a highly-forested area. Most girls I've talked to say they prefer a guy who trims that area once in a while, but doesn't shave it all the way. I've gone out and had complete full-body Brazilian waxes before, myself. And I've gone to bed with chicks and asked them what they thought of it and the responses were kind of , not what I was hoping for. Some say it gives you too much of an "asexual" look. After all they want to be with a man not a pre-pubescent kid. That having been said the area still must be trimmed on occasion. Use your discretion. If you think you're going to get some, trim and spray (in the AREA not directly ON it; it will burn) some body spray , just a little.

Couple other things; use lotion on your hands and arms. Don't want to have your hands be all dry and cracked (especially if you live somewhere where it gets cold in the winter) when you have her see your hands, like when you're writing your number down and taking hers from her for instance. Keep your fingernails clean; either short and neat or , if you like a tad longer, get a manicure , but NO polish, tell them just to buff them. Looks great. Don't pick your cuticles either. Altoids should be in every guy's pocket in h.s. Or your mint of choice. Certs maybe. Or those Listerine strips. Use like 2 of those if you're about to talk to a chick you like. I covered the face wipes thing. Guys in h.s. should carry those with them or keep them in their locker as I said. Use once a day. Great skin refreshener. I only wish they made those things when I was there. My whole life could be different right now. What else was there?? Let's see. Oh, I know, although this should be basic, 101, you'd be surprised. I'm sure you all know a guy, or two, or even a girl unfortunately, like this. Shower daily. At least once every 24. And use deodorant. Spray on is better than roll on. My personal choice in this area is Arrid XX. You'll be dry all day. Alot of people feel they don't need to shower at least once a day, I don't know maybe they're going for the French artist look, but it comes off smelling more like Albanian shepherd. Anyway, enough about that gross stuff . I think I've covered it all. Oh, Q-Tips. Use those once or twice a day as well. You should be looking and smelling like a player in no time. The girls will appreciate your little extra efforts , trust me. Peace. ~D

Ive had people ask me why i use lotion and i wanna hit em, but i tell them im black intead nad theyre like duhh...what? Anyway, use chapstick also. You dont wanna have cracked lips when youre bout to go for the kiss. When i use it people sometimes give me weird looks, conclusion...people are retarded.

Don't listen to anyone like spider_007 guys. He's clearly got deep-seated sexuality issues to even bring something like that up here. That happens to alot of guys in their early 20's though. Especially Canadians. Any guy who tries to question you about making yourself look and feel a whole lot better is just trying to drop salt on your game. Ignore. You have to feel for guys like that. Insecure City is a rough place to be. Peace guys. ~D

I do go to a nice salon for styling. I have thick, coarse, light brown, dry hair. I use Neutrogena Moisturizing Shampoo every 3rd day. I use Neutrogena Moisturizing Conditioner every day. I use Neutrogena Moisturizing Leave-in cream every day. I use Neutrogena Deep Conditioner once a week.

I use Garnier Fructis Wet Shine gel somedays, and LA Looks Curl Life gel other days. I've used Glue, but my hair looks dry as hell when I use it--but it does give my hair a spike unlike the gels that leave my hair wavy.

I just want a spikey look without my hair looking dry.

Ill respond to this by posting something from Maddox's site about metrosexuals

When did it become acceptable in this country for a man to go from being a rugged, plaid-wearing, beef jerky eating badass to a well-groomed, "metrosexual" girly-boy like Ben Affleck? Affleck recently agreed to be a spokesman for L'Oreal, with L'Oreal quoted as saying "Ben embodies a new generation of men who show their strength in their personality but are not afraid to care for their appearance." Afraid of taking care of their appearances? It's not that we're afraid you *******s, it's that we don't menstruate. What next? Men getting hormone injections so they can breast feed?

"Ben embodies a new generation of men who show their strength in their personality but are not afraid to breast feed their children."

Is it okay that I don't have a sense of style? Is it okay for me to scratch myself? I'm hairy. I like wearing plaid and I don't want to be told how to dress by some dude with a "queer eye." Is that okay with you sissies, or would you like me to package my balls and neatly carry them in a purse? For crying out loud. You're turning us into a nation of pussies.

That's why I wrote this tribute to real men, the kind of men who perpetuate our species, don't know what conditioner is used for, and don't apologize for not wearing makeup. Without further ado, real men:

oh you know me so well:(

"MALE" and "BEAUTY" are oxymorons. i'm not telling you not to take a shover or clip you fingernails, what i am saying is; "putting cream on my face, i'll never happen." next thing your gona tell me is that i need to shave my legs.

your a man, -a rugged muscular cawboy who can reslle a bull to it's knees. A MAN OF ALL MAN. You do take care of your self, cause you care about your self and for your health, not because "it's the new thing to do" The day i shave my chest is the day i want them to cut my nuts off and feed it to the dog. I'm a MAN, this is the way nature made me - rugged and strong.

ya'll do what you want. this site puts out as much good, as it does crap.

>>> I HAVE shaved my legs. I've done it many times. I haven't done it lately, but nevertheless I trim the leg hair when it gets out of line. Last night, however, I shaved my pits completely, as well as the crown jewels, and the entire area around them, leaving myself just a nice beautiful porn star-like trimmed down patch of triangular man bush. My skin is , apparently, permanently browned now from a long summer with a lot of sunbathing. I put some lotion and some cologne on, and I looked and felt great. A nice outfit, nothing crazy, just my usual style, and I went out last night and met up with a female I know from the computer and the whole thing culminated in a sexual encounter. And I tell you this, I will never forget exactly what this girl said when she was being my privates investigator; she said, simply, "I wish more men would take the time..." And she didn't finish that sentence. I asked her what she meant by that and she simply said , "I wish more men would take the time to shave like this. They always expect us to." I think that about sums up what alot (sure maybe not ALL; I'm not claiming ALL) of the females out there really think of a man taking the extra time to be beautiful. And no , male and beauty are far from oxymorons. If you believe that, you'll never be a truly beautiful male. Peace. ~D

With taking care of myself I live by this very simple philosophy:

"You get back what you put out."

I put a lot of time into looking the best that I can, time that a lot of 'men' say could be spent on well, who knows really.

Bottom line is, I've gotten more than my fair share in return. I'm not saying you do all of the things that I do, but what I will say is that like DinoCassanova I have had women umm... 'thank' me (verbally and literally :)) for taking care of things like pubic and chest hair.

But hey, like I always say... whatever works for you. After all... there's plenty of ass in this world, and plenty of different ways to get it.
