From the end of the Summer, through to Christmas time I was at school during the day, I worked each week night until half 10, and my weekends were taken up with school work, revision for exams, and coursework. So it was all work with only a little play some saturdays. Life was boring, and I didn't meet barely any new people.
I left my job at christmas, and had my exams in January. So for the last 2-3 weeks my only commitments have been going to school for a few hours each day (because alot of the lessons are cancelled now, as we've done most the work) and i haven't had any homework either.
The results are great, im a MUCH happier person now, with lots of time for my friends and whatever else i want to do, I even spend more time with my parents now. Its all because I've actually had time to relax, enjoy myself, and improve my life. My school work has improved alot too, even though its abit late really. Im not sure how this is related, but over these few weeks I've become more interested in girls personalitys, and not so much in their appearance. For example the only girls I really go out of my way to speak to often are the ones who can make me laugh, and who can take a joke. These arent the really attractive girls either.
Im looking for a job, but thats only gonna make me happier, as I'll have money to go out and to save for a car, which will also mean i get out more.
The moral of the story is just free up sometime for yourself, so you can improve on who you are, and begin to enjoy life more.
