"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I was linked to this site called 'artofmanliness', which im sure many of you know. Being very pro-masculinity and anti-feminist myself, im naturally intrigued.

The site is updated often and has a lot of buzz, i was curious how i hadn't heard of this before.

I look through some of the sections and i see a topic about a guy having problems with his wife acting like a good-for-nothing-ho.

http://artofmanliness.com/2009/05/2...ife-in-text-message-wife-responds-with-snark/

Here's his question:

My wife and I got into an argument the other night about how many hours she has been working at her job. I would like her home more. I let things cool down a bit and did not speak with her again that night. The next day, I thought I would apologize to her for getting into an argument. But when I texted her, she responded with a snide remark. As hard as I tried to make things right, it just turned into another argument. It seems like no matter how hard I try, she is not willing to make up. Should we go to counseling?
After 5 paragraphs of talk about how bad texting and technology is, the only reference to his direct question was this:

My suspicion is that you value what she does for you at home more than you value how her work makes her feel. I say this because the only reason you got into an argument with her was because you weren’t listening to her. What you wanted to communicate was more important to you than your wife.

Go back home, apologize for trying to apologize via text (oy, this is getting complicated) and then gently let her know that you miss her and wondered whether the two of you could discuss a new balance between work and home. You don’t need counseling to turn this around. You just need to care
You would expect this kind of misinformation on msn.com or a womens magazine, but this is a website that advertises itself as 'reviving the lost art of manliness'.

It goes to show that the true 'art of masculinity' is still very much an underground thing. The very few websites like this one and the blogs of roissy and roosh etc are the only places that a true understanding of society for us men is accepted. Another place to find wisdom is Hip Hop, especially old school classic albums.

Acquire career and financial success, be an alpha male, have a badboy player mindset about women and take care of your own life like a man. Mainstream loves to tone down and feminize these ideas.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I have a love-hate relationship with that blog.

Some of their articles are great. (The Benjamin Franklin virtue list, for example.) However, a lot of it as well as the people that follow the blog are, unfortunately, feminized.

The comments sort out most of your complaints. It's some clued up guys who read that site.

As for the mainstream being feminized. In other news, the sky is blue.

I don't know about that. It hasn't helped inner-city culture very much at all.

But otherwise, limiting your apologies some is probably a good thing for most people. Not everyone.

Mainstream is always feminized. The docile and emasculated cows always herd together, thus creating what is known as the Mainstream.

Everything on that site is awesome except for stuff related to women. It's like white-knighting on steroids when it comes to their dating/relationship sh!t.
