M45 vs. s2000 Turbo

Basicly would you take the sporty, small but fast s2000, or the bigger but much more luxorious M45. My friends say M45 b/c alot of ppl have fast cars but not many get a nicer car, and I kinda agree with that. Has anybody driven an M45, b/c it sounds pretty damn fast, but does it have the get up and go of a sports car?

Are they both new cars?

The Infiniti will still be fast with the V8, but the gas mileage will be significantly worse. Do they each have a warranty? If you have to pay for repairs, then an Infiniti is not cheap.

Also, fwiw, turbo's cars are easy to make faster if speed is what you are after. A simple boost controller can add 200-300 hp to most turbo cars, but the wear on the engine gets to be too much after a while if internals are not upgraded.

m45 is new, s2000 is used. the s2000 i would be buying a turbo kit w/ bov obviouslly, and a boost controller can add that much hp? If it can then that def. Im kind of a speed junkie, open roads are my friend, but the m45 with a v8, wouldnt that be pretty fast? Also both have warrenty. The M45, wouldnt that have higher insurance, or the s2000 b/c its a sports car?

If it's your only car, go with the Infiniti M45, if you already have a car as a Daily Driver, get the S2000 for a weekend warrior. I can't tell you how good it feels to have a sports car instead of a "sporty" car. Sporty cars are great Daily's but IMO if you don't own one and can get away with owning one and are able to take care of it, a sports car is something you'll always remember .

If the car is under warranty, they're not going to let you mod it. And yes, the V8 is still fast, but the Honda still looks a lot more fun. The Infinity is nice, but kind of boring.
