I can give you an example of why you dump a woman who is still "friends" with her ex. I have one who texts me fairly regularly.... and comes over every couple months[and we aren't talking]...while she lives with a guy who pays half the mortgage on HER house. If she's slept with him before, it's easier to sleep with him again. He doesn't count on her number.
