There was a part of me who wanted a 'hot babe' for social status. The old me did anyway. After all, our shallow youth/beauty obsessed culture builds them up as good people that we should give a fvck about. Through my teens and early twenties I was giving power to others feeling and thinking that I would never be one of those, and it affected my life on so many fronts.
