Master Don Juan
.... followed by confusion about the signals they are getting, trying to understand what it all means. Well... for what it is worth I will give my impression based on 35 years of dating experience...
I think what confuses a lot of men the most is when women don't act like men. They are women... they are acting like women you should not expect them to act like men.
Women, by their very nature are not loyal: men, in contrast have loyalty as a guiding principle. Women have their periscopes up, and they have an empty cargo ship lined up to launch their torpedo, but they are scanning for the air-craft carrier... a high value target... and if they think they can sink that carrier, they will forget about the cargo ship.
With societal conditioning they can be shaped to resist their urges to 'monkey branch', but the temptation is always there. The problem with seemingly 'loyal' chicks, the ones that 'stick things out' will come to resent the man she is with if she believes she can do better... she will nag and brow beat him, use passive aggressive BS like sex withdrawal, putting on weight, and not putting any effort to be attractive at all. But who the fvck want a LOYAL fat shrew that tries to shame you in front of family and friends? You can always spot couples like this... usually the chick is walking in front of the dude... who is slumped over... following along like a whipped dog... often they dressed the same, and she is over-weight. When they are eating in a restaurant, she's on the phone with friends, while he just keeps his head down eating and not saying anything.... the reason he puts up with this sh!t is his natural tendency to remain 'loyal".
If you live in a Western society, you most likely live in a culture that rewards women for their natural hypergamous nature, and punishes men when they behave disloyally. Men are just expected to shut the fvck up, let her spend his money... take on more debt... and when he is used up, discarded like the useless tool he has become. If the relationship ends... it is ALWAYS the man's fault, either he was a pig that cheated on her (even though she was not fulfilling his needs) or that didn't treat her right (he wasn't fulfilling HER needs)... or he was stupid for chaining himself to her in the first place (if she was obvious basket case). It's never her fault, completely. There are ZERO consequences for dumping the man she is with, and moving onto a better on... NONE. But if the man does the same... well... he's a pig.
So what does all this mean?
If you find yourself attracted to a chick that is in a relationship, and you make a move.... and she responds, well this means she believes you are better than the man she has now, and thinks she can land you.
If at some time while you two are hooking up, that she 'suddenly' is showing no interest... well, all this means is at some point during the times you were together, she determined you are not better. Or that she thinks she can not wrap you up.... The older they are... the faster this happens. If they are not happy in their relationship and shes past her mid-30s, she knows her expiration date is passing quick and she will not waste more than one second to move onto other targets.
If she gives you indicators of interest, you make a move and she gives you mixed signals, all that means is she thinks you might be a better catch, but isn't sure. Either that or she is having doubts about her current relationship situation and she is just looking for validation... chicks love to believe they have other options should something go sideways... it makes them feel secure. I know a lot of guys in relationships with chicks that flirt with other guys, and don't mind at all, because the near term benefit for them is better. A women feels better about herself when other men give her attention, so she is better behaved and nicer... she likes the validation and takes better care of herself so that continues.
The only way to keep a woman happy in a LTR is to be the very best man you can be, and for her to believe she can not do better than you. But really you can not control what she thinks... if she thinks she can do better, depending on her upbringing, she will act on that. In the USA, if she starts fvcking other dudes, there really is no consequence... you can't control her without being accused of emotional or mental abuse, and if God help you, you get physical, you will end up in jail, unless you have a butt load of money to pay lawyers and buy her off.
There are always going to be dudes that line up waiting to get on the spook-house ride. Just look at Asia Argento, a women who wh0red herself into show business riding a horse named, named Harvey Weinstein, and when he found himself in trouble, mostly because he was an idiot. My God if you are a multimillionaire, addicted to sex... why in the world would you NOT just go out and hire prostitutes. Argento, again took advantage of the Weinstien situation and jumped on the MeToo bandwagon, declared herself a victim, and now she is a heroine... so brave... meanwhile the next stupid idiot that tried getting into a LTR with this chick, Anthony Bourdain, kills himself... and poor Asia is so distraught she cancelled one stop on her tour with her God-awful band, and was back on stage in a matter of days... to cheers about how brave and strong she is.
Not all chicks are like this... but the truth is that most of them are, or could be under the right circumstances. I don't say any of this with happiness or joy, or even anger and sadness. It just is the way it is. I accept women the way they are, I just approach each one like I'm dealing with TNT. As long as you are trained and careful, handling explosives can be perfectly safe.
You CAN find a relationship with a women, and you have a 25% chance that you end up in a good one. But you will not find them unless you properly screen out chicks, pay attention to what is happening, and do not increase your risk by doing something stupid.
For me, at my stage in life, I am not interested in relationships, period. So maybe this is why their behavior really doesn't bother me. I am perfectly happy just going from chick to chick as each one runs it's course, until time eventually robs me of any SMV I might have... then I will be content with my memories.
