"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I realize that women are more emotional than logic. Realizing this VS understanding or applying this to women is a difficult thing (at least for me). I could really use some tips either here with some web links.

I consider myself fortunate as to my ability to meet and attract women, but totally su*k when it comes to female rationalizations. If I’m right or wrong, I have absolutely no problem equally admitting either. If a woman has been good, I have no problem offering praise, but if there’s a problem and a woman claims to be blameless, I’m equally and sternly up front about her participation as well.

I get it… that I’m not making them “feel good” emotionally and consequently, they will sometimes pull away. If it’s possible, I’d like to find that “fine line” where my wording/attitude doesn’t cause their withdrawal, but at the same time maintain my frame.

“Spin more plates” seems to be the common reply, but this doesn’t address a pattern to which I seem to be creating. Also, the typical woman I’m out with is usually average to slightly above; meaning that they aren’t exactly high maintenance. spoiled, or with unlimited options as the HB 9's or 10's. There comes a time when a pattern occurs so often, that we can’t blame the other and have to work on our inner game. That’s why I’m posting.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Unfortunately, you will find very little advice on this forum on how to make women "feel good" emotionally, unless it's by fvcking them hard.

Dear Black Widow,
Rationalising Women,it's an oxymoron,an impossibility...don't even try it's a waste of time....how can you use logic against emotion?....Most of them are never wrong, just play along but do what you want to do anyway...as to making them feel good, you must frequently compliment their dress sense,hair,skin,shoes....agree with their take on "Issues"...serve them back the same opinions they have dished up,but package it slightly differently...in other words constantly massage their egos and placate their emotions...For your own needs, keep quality time for your mates,it's the only way to stay sane!

Replying to this while I'm a bit drunk, so maybe I'm missing the point..

But in my estimation if you want them to stay around it's about balancing:

* Showing them attention, making them feel wanted and desired.

* Displaying 'positive masculinity.'

* An never, never stop gaming them.

It's yet another problem from taking a woman's words literally. You just can't do it.

Take any stupid thing any woman ever said and preface it with "I feel as though..." and it won't be stupid any more, it will actually be correct, because that is how she feels.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
