Looooooooong Pickups...

Hey there fellas!

I was wondering what your thoughts are on "long pickups."

For example Friday me and some friends are going to my buddies vacation house for the weekend, but it is a 9 hour drive away. It will be two other guys and three girls...six total in the car, for nine hours. One of the girls is my buddies gf, the other one if brutally fugly, and the third is gorgeous and I have never met her, but niether has the other guy. I expect the other guy and I will be competing for this hot girl. Any strategies for the long ride that will give me the lead for the weekend?

Establish your value and imply some (not total) interest early. Don't be all over her during the car ride, but get the seat next to her and start with light kino if possible.

If the other guy is better looking has game you could go with some AMOGing but you want to be careful not to make such a long trip uncomfortable.

But hey, plenty of time at the vacation house (will there be alcohol there? Hmmm?). If you miss the seat next to her, no prob. I think I've tried "seduction while riding." I can't recall it ever working.

well, i think seduction while riding can work sometimes, but nine hours of kino might be a bit much. Same goes for feeling like you have to talk to the girl for nine hours just because she's seated next to you. In some ways, you may be best off sitting far away from her.

Obsidian I think you make a good point...I could either:

1. sit close to her and flirt with her

2. sit away from her and flirt

3. sit away from her and build status, "activly ignoring" her

Either way after we get to the destination continue what I statred, and If I have gotten some IOI's I can find a way to isolate her so we can continue enjoying ourselves in private ...without xyz around. Thoughts?
