Looks don't matter as much as some people think they do. Everywhere I look, I see hot women dating/fvcking average or even downright ugly guys. Very rarely will I see a well matched couple ie a very hot guy with a very hot girl.
Also, I once did an interesting experiment in which I created a pof profile based on a cousin of mine. He's Swedish, blond, 6'2, very good looking, has a good job as an engineer, has a master's degree in engineering science, and works out religiously at bodybuilding. He's currently dating a very hot 21 year old.
Anyways, I created a fake pof profile featuring his pics, and with a well written yet concise summary.
My findings were remarkable. Although he did get some hotties messaging him, they weren't all that much more in quantity and quality than the ones messaging me. Also, I even set up dates with what i thought were average looking girls/plain janes and guess what - even the average girls flaked and switched around plans at the last minute.
Conclusion of my experiment: even the average looking girls were acting as if though they were the ones who needed to be treated well and won over. So while he definitely got treated a little better than an average looking guy, it wasn't by very much at all.
In essence, my findings corroborate what rrrrr said in this post of his on another thread:
"Just for shiggles, I took that model's picture, made a plenty of fish account, and emailed a handful of women. I only saw one message "your an idiot. find something else to do with your life you loser." Then she blocked me and the message disappeared. About 8 women I emailed, that was the only response I got, I only see 4 women now, the rest blocked me.
I don't doubt for a second attractive men have an easier time getting laid. But I wouldn't say it's THAT easy.However: this guy does get a lot more "winks" or whatever you call them. 3 women contacted him in 10 minutes of signing up.
I also took one of my friends pictures who has a history of dating attractive women and sent out a bunch of emails. I didn't get any responses, other than fat women. I don't know if he's attractive or not."
