You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
no lets not, althoug it is totally clear shes not attracted to him, but this is an observation which is evidence which should not be ignored. It points out my theory as right, and that the "looks dont matter" as wrong.Charm said:Its clear she wasnt attracted to him. Move along.
Well, this is an interesting study in psychology, selective perception and self-limiting beliefs.God_of_getting_layed said:no lets not, althoug it is totally clear shes not attracted to him, but this is an observation which is evidence which should not be ignored. Its evidence, shouldnt be ignored! Its crucial to this core discussion
Alright, given that your specific example is true, it also leads to the assumption that people who put a heavy emphasis on looks have a terrible time staying in a relationship. I have no idea whether the size of their unit has anything to do with it and I'm surprised that anyone could find such statistics (or bothered to look it up).wayword said:...That's why the same handful of top Hollywood "it girls" like Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Olsen twins, etc. all rotate through the same handful of guys:
Tommy Lee - rock star with probably ~8" rod
Wilmer Valderrama - suave-looking shytcom actor who claims to be slightly >8"
Jared Leto - pretty boy actor with allegedly big rod
Rick Solomon - wealthy heir with what appears to be a 7"+ rod
Colin Farrell - star actor with what appears to be >7" rod
Kevin Federline - good-looking guy (size unknown)
you got that right!wayword said:Everytime Deus sees an ugly guy with a decent-looking girl, he says see...I'm right! And everytime he sees an ugly guy getting rejected by a girl, he says it was due to his game, not looks.
this is accurate too, #3 means she's a gold digger. one of the oldest professions in the world.~~~~~ REALITY CHECK NOW ~~~~~
When you look at the TOP ALPHA FEMALES in American pop culture and who they consistently choose to date though, it generally boils down to a trifactor of:
1) GOOD LOOKS
2) BIG D!CK
3) FAME/STATUS
again accurate. Though, Id say colin farrell is more known for being good looking than having a big rod. I cant count how many times Ive heard women say they wanna fvck him cuz hes soo hot. and colins a slvt too, he gets so much ass..its no wonder. That's why the same handful of top Hollywood "it girls" like Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Olsen twins, etc. all rotate through the same handful of guys:

Sorry guys, but that's the real secret to getting chicks and probably hasn't changed in 5000 years. You'll notice as each of those 3 variables increases, so does the hotness and number of their gf's. And without those 3, you will have a hard time attracting and keeping the top "it girls." But with them, you can almost do no wrong...
yep, your so right, you understand it. Although, this is stastically more common with attractive women then fug women, reason being fug often cant get attractive men, so they have to lower their standards as do fug guys; they train themselves to see past looks. I need to point this out because deus and others will take this out of context.NEWSFLASH - These girls always date good-looking guys! You never see them with a fug! I'll never say never, but certainly statistically, they date decent-looking guys the vast majority of the time!
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
actually, I read a study that said that people of equal attractiveness stay together longer than people of un-equal attractiveness. so the hot girl-hot guy will stay together far longer than the hot girl-ugly guy couple will. ugly guy-ugly girl will stay together a long time etc.Francisco d'Anconia said:Alright, given that your specific example is true, it also leads to the assumption that people who put a heavy emphasis on looks have a terrible time staying in a relationship. We'll call this the "777" club.God_of_getting_layed said:well, we both see it! we are both 2 independant sources that come in agreement, which validates our observations as accurate.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
There is truth to that but it's not based solely on looks, it's based on the confidence (or comfort) that a person has when dating someone that they feel is their equal. The easiest judgement on that is looks but it also includes their social and economic levels.God_of_getting_layed said:actually, I read a study that said that people of equal attractiveness stay together longer than people of un-equal attractiveness. so the hot girl-hot guy will stay together far longer than the hot girl-ugly guy couple will. ugly guy-ugly girl will stay together a long time etc.

If you are:
1) A 7 or more in looks
2) Have a 7" or bigger d!ck
3) Make $70K or more a year
Damn logic getting in the fvcking way all the time... :cuss:Deus ex Pianoforte said:Careful now, Francisco...don't want to make too much sense here or anything. Don't want any looks-are-everything folks to get hurt.![]()
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
And which ones are you actually fuxxoring?Deus ex Pianoforte said:Good news for all you looks-are-everything guys demanding my pics/denouncing me as an ugly troll determined to design a new reality for myself! My co-worker just sent me a couple pics from some parties we've had. I'm the dude in the red shirt and Stones shirt with the goofy drunken expression on his face.Sorry there's no shirtless pics, but I'd be glad to hook you up with those if you keep it up with the "fat" accusations. Now if I could just get my freakin' camera to link up with my computer...

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
