"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Hi All,

Can anyone provide a post on what and how they changed from being an AFC to being a DJ? I've seen a lot of posts on here that say to just quit reading and get out there, but a lot of people (including myself) have mental blocks/barriers that can't be taken down by 'getting out there'. What I am looking for is 'how' you changed. Sort of a step by step on what actions you took to get out there.

I'm sure nobody just sat up one morning after never dating a girl or having the balls to approach a girl and said to their reflection 'today is the day - the new me'. There is no magic wand/technique/anything that can make that happen.

So how did you all change? I'm not looking for general tips like 'I decided that I would stop caring what other people thought of me'. Did you just say these things or did you follow up with actions?

I believe this would eliminate a lot of the questions asked here as the same answers are generally given just in each person's unique style. Most of the articles/tips on here don't fit together very well due to everyone having a slightly different style.

For example, maybe you took some classes to improve something about yourself - dating/flirting class, dancing, etc. And results would be great too - say you took a dancing class, what changed in yourself and the ladies?

Your stories will be a great influence on a lot of members here, especially myself. Please go into as much details as you can remember as the more details the more helpful the information will become.

Thanks in advance
J

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

First of all i would like to say that everybody will have different ways of overcoming this mental barrier. It is best to find one that suits yourself best. Personally, I used a few ways to get myself to change. I visualised the outcome that i wanted to have i.e. having a great social life with many babes hanging around me most/if not all the time. Then i went on to visualise how i wanted to make people feel around me, how i would act and behave, my body language and self talk. This mental exercise prepares you mentally.

Another way i like to use is the pissed off feeling. don't mistake this for anger or violence. Ever got that feeling that you deserve better? Instead of wondering why the girl flaked out on you or did not like you, feel the angst and use it to improve yourself because you deserve much better. And to get better success you have to love and improve yourself - by knowing what pisses you off, and then taking solid action to weed and filter out the behaviour and people you don't have to tolerate.

Next, you are right. There is no magic wand - except the one that you are going to nail the chicks with. If you are looking for solid ways to gauge your progress or get you started, i would suggest that you do the DJ bootcamp, downloadable from the bible page. This is a series of well planned exercises that builds upon your path to DJ'hood step by step with increasing difficulty, or should i say, skill level? The changes to come will not take place overnight. You might not notice the success overnight, but the changes take time to be instilled in you. Also, it will take some time for the people around you to notice the new you. So be patient, work on it one step at a time, and feel free to ask more questions if you need help. That's what this community is for =)

hoped this helps

1. I had great confidence and personality to begin with, but no skills.
2. I fell hard for a girl and got my ass painfully and slowly rejected. I decided I lack social skills.
3. To gain skills I started signing for all kind of interest clubs and other extracurricular activities, where I met a lot of new people.
4. With time I got the basics of social interaction and became a social person. Eventualy, I started to understand other people really well. Still no success with girls.
5. Found the David D matherials. Made great sense. Filled the gaps.
6. I immediately shifted my internal attitude in the right direction. Then started occasionally and patiently trying stuff, while keeping most of my time for other things I enjoy/need to do. Noticed slow, but consistent progress, so I kept the pace.
7. Now I wonder if I should increase the speed, and if I do - in what direction. (direction as in "What the hell do I really want?" kind of direction :) )

In a nutshell, that's my story.
