Looking for classy/sophisticated manly art

Ever since my ex moved out earlier this year my place has never been fully decorated (she tried to add to her totalitarian regime the title 'decorative dictator' but I booted her before too much damage done). I've in the mean time made the place mine.. but its lacking finished personality as most of the walls are bare (no art/ pictured etc). I'm looking to rectify that.

To be clear, I'm not talking tacky battery operated wall mounted talking fish or naked women posters here.

I'm talking something classy possibly sophisticated.. I've looked at some places near me and some online and so many of them are covered with mushy girly symbols (hearts, love.. chocolate.. etc) that is definitely not what I'm looking for.

Any recommendations?

You may want to consider getting a decent piece of sculpture. I like Adam Jones' work as well as Stanislav Szukalski and Alex Grey.

Manly art? you mean something like mozart opposed to britney spears? Not really sure what you are talking about. Art being a personal thing, I think the only art that is worth your time is the stuff you are drawn to or have interest in. What are you interested in? I mean it's your room so it's only fitting to have things that would fit your personality.

There's so many different kinds of art, that you're gonna have to be specific.
I mean there's renaissance, new age, expressionism, abstractism, romanticism, modernism, etc. as well as stuff from other cultures.

In my opinion, renaissance era art is easily the best. I mean how can you compare this:
