"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Its like i always look back at a time when everything was good and i just want that part of my life back.

A time when i had a exceptioanlly hot gf, great friendships, great social life, less problems at home. Life has got quite hard for me lately and i just cant help but reminisce about this time. I was on such a high then and didnt even know it. Im craving to go back to that time.

Its like i was on the top and lost everything and im now on the bottom.

For some reason going back to that stage of my life again seems so unreal and i honestly never feel like i will ever go back to a level like that. Maybe i set such high standards for myself.

Anyone be able to relate at all?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Dude - that's how life is. Haven't you ever heard your parents talk about "the good old days?"

Humans are nostalgic by nature. "Youth is wasted on the young," they say. In part, they are right because the young often don't take advantage of their numerous opportunities. But in another sense, that is a flawed statement because all those ridiculous things that go on in youth are what brought them into adulthood.

So don't worry about it. You will have ups and downs. Best thing is just to remain confident and positive. Because positivity breeds success.

Remember that -

POSITIVITY BREEDS SUCCESS

Dude everyone has their lows, its how you react to a low like this which will determine what will happen to you next.

You got to get off your ass and tell yourself that you will reach that period of your life again. Set yourself a goal of reaching a better high then the one you reminisce of. And then when you reach it, you wont even have to reminsce about those days coz youre in a better state now. Aim for a better gf, more true friendships, better social life, etc. That should be your main aim.

First thing you got to do is stop reminsicing. Its ok to look back on good times once in a while but spending most of your time doing that is just self-destruction. I used to reminisce a lot about my ex when i broke up with her but then i just slapped myself and told myself to 'stop being a *****'. Fuk the past, its gone. Just make it your sole aim on achieving those times again, if you could do it then, why not again.

Good luck bro.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

dannyc hit it right on the head.

i, myself, am victim to the 'reminisce' thing. I remember dating a chick, then when we broke up spending all my time wishing it was the past when things were good.

then a funny thing happened. i met another chick. that was great. now that we're broken up, i did the same thing. only difference is i now realize that after the first time i did something about it and found happiness again.

i'm starting to focus less on my ex...no longer allow myself to slip into teh past...and it's now all about september 2005 and beyond.

you are in total control of your life. you could be very happy right now if you channeled the energy you spent thinking about the past on improving the future. you never know...the one night you go out (instead of sitting at home sulking) may be the one night you find the woman of your dreams. if you don't, keep searching.

she's out there bro....but if you come with a sad face, she'll sense it and walk away.

be the man! you'll look back at now and laugh once you find your true happiness.
