I agree with the one poster who said that you are ironically intimidating women by being so 'perfect' on the outside. You have a good looking face, and an even more incredible body. You said that you used to be an 'ugly (fat) duckling', but you've poured your sweat and tears into becoming a stud. I think I see the issue here as I too used to be fat, it killed my self-esteem, deprived me of experience with women and caused me to become very shy and sensitive. I never felt comfortable with myself and every time a woman showed interest in me, I used to think she was making fun of me.

I'm guessing that being fat was your motivation for working out and has made you a perfectionist. Obviously, you take a lot of pride in your looks now, but maybe your shyness is left over from the past.

Ross Jeffries explains this very well. He explains that people give themselves identities based on their past. If you used to be shy, you will accept yourself as a shy person and fit all your behaviour into this identity.

i.e. A shy person can't talk to women, therefore, if you believe you are a shy person, you also believe that you can't talk to women.

The problem is, when shy people act shy, they say things like "this is who I am" and accept this is how they should act.

Now tell yourself you are a confident person and every time you act shy, tell yourself "this is not who I am" and leave your shy identity in the past.

Hi Belgium Freak. Why don't you post a thread on the health and fitness forum outlining your routine/diet etc. I am sure it would be much appreciated . If you put half as much effort into conquering shyness as you do with the weights, you will be surrounded by girls in no time.

Ice Cold's advice-while crude, is very good. In the end just do it! smile at a girl and if you get a smile back, say hello, introduce yourself, ask her a few questions about herself, get her number and let her do the rest. If like me you don't like talking to strangers do something like dancing, church, charity work, mixed sports or something where you come into contact with girls in a neutral setting. Then it is easy to say hello, how are you enjoying the class? or something banal

I just received a good article from undesputable and i'm gonna give it a try..No, i'm gonna DO it!

anywayz, about shaping your body... it actually depends on two things : working out AND eating correct. If you don't have a LOT of time (hey, who does right ?) you could try the body for life program. Wich is one day of weight training (45 mins.), next day interval cardio (20 mins)... If you'r serious about changing your appearance i strongly suggest this book (body for life - author : bill philips). It explains how to workout and what foods are good, really simple and it's written for beginners.

As far as what works :

Creatine : this is a VERY powerfull supplement for gaining lean mass, it volumizes muscle cells. If you want to gain mass fast, this is really a MUST. You'll notice much harder pumps after a few days, you'll see yourself grow fast (wich gets you motivated even more). PS: this is not an anabolic for those of you who don't have a clue
