"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Sup everybody. I've been reading these forums for around two years now. Little background on myself, I'm 18, live in Florida, have always been pretty introverted. I’m a full time student and I run a web design and management business, things have been slow but are starting to pick up, I’m trying to build up some clientele. It’s good money while I’m in school, with virtually zero operating costs. Tuesday I’m planning on getting dressed up and going to interview for either a position as a server or a host at a Cheesecake factory they are opening up down here, I need to make some consistent money. I’m commuting to university from home, living with my folks. They are really chill, we have a weird dynamic but are extremely close. They are extremely supportive of me and let me pretty much do my own thing and give loving guidance.

As far as girls are concerned, I’m really not that bad. When I put myself out there I'm usually really great with people in general. Often times though, I find myself sitting at home on the weekends and I just end up reading, writing, and or working. And if I really want to go out, I usually depend on my bros to find something to do, so in that sense I’m just not that sociable. If I do go out with friends and there are girls there I always end up singling one out and talking to them and something usually comes from it. Another problem of mine is that a lot of the girls my age are boring as hell to me, and I want more than just a physical relationship, so I have this lie going through my head “its not worth it,” and I rarely follow up on anything(and I know a lot of these girls have depth if I just got to know them). It’s basically my ***** way of copping out. For instance a couple of weeks ago I went out to eat with some girls from my church college ministry (only one of them is date material), but while we were eating our waiter came up and said that the girl over there(a girl working there) wanted me to give her a call, that she was a cheerleader, etc, and should call her. But I never did. I figured it wouldn’t be worth it, and I also didn’t want to call her and have nothing for us to do… you know.. Which leads me to my next thing…

Once I get my foot in the door and am comfortable chilling with a girl, its all gravy. I can talk to girls and flirt with them, even get their number, but setting up meeting, and getting to that point, is a big hurdle for me. I don’t really know of stuff going on and I figure it would be lame if we just chilled at my house or whatever… and I wouldn’t mind taking them out to dinner or to do something but I don’t want to spend money on a girl that I don’t know that well… I’m probably cheap.. ehh not cheap just frugal.

Also, girls that are extremely attractive have always intimidated me. They don’t really “scare” me, it’s just I have no experience with them. In general I’ve always gone for girls that are less attractive than me, a self confidence issue, I know. My parents ***** at me about not ever bringing anybody over or dating anybody that is even near good looking as I am. I know if I had success with one HB10 I would shatter that fear though.

I need to build up my self confidence. A lot of people say I am very mature and further along the road than most 18year olds, that may be true, and I think it is, but it has an isolating effect, and it ****s with my head/shakes my confidence on most days. I’m pretty introverted, as mentioned above, and I get in my own head a lot which sabotages me. It is my experience that when I just zone out and don’t think and just react I perform best with the opposite sex and my peers in general.

Where I stand right now as far as girls are concerned… I was spending a lot of time with this 25yr old and some stuff happened and she just did not interest me anymore. There’s this girl, lets call her girl #1, that I met at a club with my buddies. She is really short, which I have sort of a love hate relationship with because I’m 6’4” and a big guy, but she is kinda cute, not really my type, sort of quirky, good conversationalist for the most part, obviously very intelligent/bookwormish from speaking with her. Anyways, we danced a lot and talked it up quite a bit. She actually asked me for my # before I could get hers, gave her a kiss on the forehead when hugging and saying goodbye at end of the night. She called me about two days later, we talked for a bit and I sort of felt her out and got to know her a little better, 15minute convo probably.. told her I had to go I was busy working on some things(which I was), and that I was glad she called and I was planning on giving her a call this week anyways, but to give me a call when she gets back in town(she said she was going upstate for like two days) and we could get together.

She texted me and wanted to know what I was doing Thursday because she ended up not going out of town and I didn’t respond. I was busy with some friends and with girl#2 who I’ll get to in a minute. Girl #1 called me the next day and I ended up going over to her house met her folks(they are “old fashioned” and I “needed to” she said), did my bit, parents love me generally because I’m polite, we headed to the movies with a bunch of her friends. Her IL is very high, she was staring at me at various points throughout the movie. Kept like sort of playfully kicking me and touching my arm and stuff, I was just watching and enjoying the movie most of the time except for when I’d make a comment on something I found interesting. Haha, she actually said at one point “You smell really good!” in an enthusiastic tone, I just smiled and said “Thank you.” Her and her friends and I went out to eat afterwards, she was sitting left of me and rubbing on my thigh at various times. Was tired, headed back to her place, her and her friends started chatting, I was the first one to bail, said I was tired and wanted to head out, said goodbye, I hugged girl#1 first, then her 3 friends, she said are you going to call me? I laughed. I said not tonight, but yeah I’ll call you. She laughed and she said yeah I know not tonight. Said goodbye again and I took off. She really isn’t that attractive to me, she’s a 6 on my scale. She’s pretty sexual though, very touchy. I could have some fun with her if I got her alone, but I’m really not into that. Seeing her interact with her friends sort of lowered my IL, they seemed really negative, gossipy, and 18yr oldish (all seniors in HS). I’d like to get her alone and see how she acts and what the chemistry is like. **** she just texted me lol “Busy? I just want to talk.” **** to which I replied “Ya ill call you in a few, k?” I’ll see what all that is about.

Girl #2, is sort of a mystery, I have a genuine attraction to her and its hard for me to understand why. She has a bad rep, though. But I think there is more to her than the party girl image she has(prolly my AFCish shining through). I’d like to get to know her better. We’ve hung out a little bit, always with friends. Made out with her pretty much all night at a party and we fell asleep together(people were cool, let us sleep over at townhouse), she was not sober though and I was(I don’t drink). I don’t pay her that much attention, she is HB7 on my scale, and I wouldn’t mind a relationship with her but she just seems to want to have fun right now, no real commitment vibes on her part despite mucho flirtyness(she flirts with everyone). Some of my buddies that knew her in HS told me to stay away, she was a hor, etc. From talking with her(I know, not a good source) she really is a good girl, and got sort of burnt by her first real relationship(senior year of HS) and sort of went off on a wild streak after that, I sort of feel for her.

That’s where I am right now. I got wave of inspiration this morning, I’m going to continue and even ramp up my reading, continue doing a lot of personal enrichment, reading some Trump books and Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”, also planning on starting the DJ Boot Camp either tomorrow or this Thursday.

When I found this place I wasn’t surprised, I knew there was more to it. I’ve always loved hearing other’s experiences on here and picking up knowledge/tips/insight. It’s just now time for me to push myself some more and apply all of the things I know I am capable of. I’d like to build a giant social circle and a network of girls where I always have/know of something going on and I sort of have my pick of the litter and can have some fun in the process. I want to become a more active member on these forums. I might log my boot camp experience. Look forward to interacting with you guys, keep strong!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
