Hello everyone! I'm not new to the board, although I haven't really posted before. Something about me for starters? I'm a 17-year-old guy living in the freezing capital of Finland. I wouldn't say that I'm a complete DJ yet, but I'm not that far.

The situation is that I'm going to London for a week and I'm now trying to find out more about the city from real people and not the same old tourist guides. I've already read through those. On this international board I might have a chance of finding someone actually living in the big city and I'm sure there's a lot of you who have at least visited it.

I'm leaving on Sunday and would appreciate all input on the subject of London. Where to go? What to see? What to avoid? What to do? Travel stories are welcome! You get the point.. And of course if someone living in London would like to show me around, he or she would have my infinite gratitude!

I am an American, but I have been to London three times. If you like History and all the darkness of the Dark and Middle ages, you will like London. Certain must sees are the Tower of London ( U can't miss it), Buckingham Palace, Madame Taussaud's Wax Musuem and the London Dungeon. Of course, there is more to see than this, but these are the main. You should also take some exursions out to some nice places like Canterbury, Stratford upon Avon and Salisbury.
