I work in one of the hospitals dealing with this. They're saying 45 confirmed dead and about 1000 injured.

London is going about it's business as if it's a normal day (except without any public transport). Terrorist fvckers can burn in the deepest pits of Hades...

It's more 'tragedy' I think than politics. But yeah, I just read about it... for those people who live out there in London... hope everything works out. The one thing I kept saying about these people when the war was about to start is true... they are just a different kind of crazy than people like the British or the Americans.

This isn't about weapons (access or lack thereof) armies and **** like that... this is about mentality. As civilized countries we really have to start asking ourselves if we have what it takes mentally to take on these ****ers. If we don't (and honestly, I'm not sure we do), we need to reevaluate a few things.

I disagree wholeheartedly. There have already been political statements made in this thread. There have been statements made in this thread that I would rebut were it not for the fact that political discussions are banned.

I mean, honestly, would you rather those statements get made or that a thread like this gets locked?

It doesn't seem right that some people are allowed to make political statements and not others. But any rebuttal of points being made will surely prompt a debate that will almost certainly get out of hand, particularly with an issue as charged as this is.

I saw this on TV this morning! EEEEK my girl is in London RIGHT NOW studying for 5 weeks! I hope she's okay, but conicdering the size of London I doubt she caught any impact from the incident.

Still kinda shakes me up a little you know, I was dreaming about her last night and now i see this crapola on TV. Definately works a guys nerves for shizzle.

It makes you think though, how bad must these terrorists lives be that they can justify this BS....maybe if Osama Bin Laden had found this website awhile back we could have prevented this whole mess

It's been tried. It always ends up with people going absolutely nuts. The political discussions got so out of hand a while ago that Allen banned them from the site.

Whatever. Nobody said there was a problem "sharing shock and condolences over this incident". But this is a topic that is deeply rooted in American, British, and Middle Eastern policies and politics, which is already coming out in several posts on this thread.

I'd like to express my condolences towards our friends across the Irish Sea. This was a terrible atrocity but I know the people of London will be OK as they are strong people.
