"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Ok, Last night at 5:30, my friend text messages me telling me she is extremely upset blah blah blah and I'm the only one she can talk to about it, but she wants to talk when she gets to her comp (so we can talk over AIM) and that won't be till tomorrow (which is today). Well, 9:30PM rolls around and she calls.. so I ask her what is wrong and she says she can't say infront of her parents. So I say "Is it about your boyfriend?" she said "yes"..So, I follow up with "is it about getting married to him" (cause he proposed a few weeks back and she was quick to say yes). She responded, very hesitantly "yes". Well, I didn't want her to stay in a sad mood so I spent the next hour making her smile and laugh.

Well today comes and she txt's me at 1PM, saying she is a few hours from home. So I write back "you wanna hang out", she says she would love to...

well, about 30 minutes ago, she calls me... and asks if it was possible if I can spend the night... Of course, being her friend, I accept and say sure why not...

Now, I just want to know, in all of your OPINIONS, what will happen? Is this just a friendly get together (I have never spent the night at her place before)? Her boyfriend doesn't even know we are friends.

Their relationship is a long distance one and recently they have been fighting (infact, that is why I think he proposed was to try and salvage the relationship...)

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
