"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I am stuck in this situation. There's this girl who I know through a group of friends. We were childhood friends but we lost contact since we were 12 (we're 25 now) and recently have been hanging out again.

Anyway, both of us pretty much share the same interest. I was able to get high IL from her from the past 3 get together with much kino but I havent found a chance to escalate this. I have been getting **** tests like "What age will you get married?", you know those kinda bf qualifying questions. I pretty much passed those **** tests.

Now, the question is how do I escalate this to the next level? I am a pretty busy guy as I work long hours and I still have to juggle night classes for my post-grad studies. So you can be sure I am not the needy AFC guy next door guy. I only call her up to fix dates, no fluff talk on the phone.

So how do i escalate this to the next level? and did I get LJBF when I get a msg from msn "I am good, friend"? Or was this another **** test?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yeah... just keep her as a good friend and have her hook you up with some of her friends. She'll wanna keep you as a friend, cos that's all you've ever been and I doubt she's gonna wanna end up ruining the relationship. I know it sucks, thought you had a chance, but you don't :/
