Listen, I NEED HELP WITH SOMTHING OK

OK my problem is i have trouble making eye contact when people ...i neeed some help and what better plave to ask then rite here we all you people ...if u can tell me as much info as possible i would really aprechiate it a lot ....ok....for som reason has i goot older ive had problems making eye contact with people i really domt know what it is is i found myself always staring into peoples eys when they are taking and it makes them feel funny.....ive always read u should always make eye contact with people because this shows respect and that u are interested so that what i do i look into people eyes..whoever when they talk i jus look at them ...but i jus feel uncomfortable and it get weird....What the technique when it comes to eye contact even..when im walking down the street i see people watchin me and i cant watch them back..is it because im lookin at them they stare back..so what is it any help would mean a lot to me

Just work on it

Awareness is the first step in the road to improvement. I used to be pretty lousy with that, but now eye contact is one of my absolute strengths.

Check the DJ Bible for the "bootcamp," which is a series of exercises designed to help open you up.

To get some idea of how a bootcamp, you can do a search for "GodsGiftToFatBirds" bootcamp diary. His screen name amused the hell out of me, so I started contributing bits of advice to his bootcamp journal, and he's done a real good job of it. In fact, he's much better at pulling hot birds than I am, now that he's honed his game a bit.

Eye contact is a good place to start. That, and presentation. A man's confident, "well put-together" appearance in which he carries himself well is as attractive to women as a woman's beautiful face and shapely body is to a man. I call this whole combination of traits your "aura." Confident, inviting, but not overbearing eye contact is a great part of your aura, too.

A man's aura is to attracting females as a woman's appearance is to attracting men.

Thanks ive checked out the bootcamp and it help but i dont know i really dont thnk my problem is confidence

When you make eye contact, it can be wierd, but you have to learn how to do it. You can simply just stare, you have to go with the flow and have a conversation to hold. If both people are not talking it can become strange. But always be sure to hold eye contact when someone is telling you something. It shows you respect them and are interested. Nod your head, smile, do whatever. Just be cool, not afraid.

I agree 100%. You need to believe your are fvcking awesome. Walk with your head up ALWAYS. Walk with confidence, have that aura. Trust me, if you're confident I guarantee you will not have a problem looking into peoples eyes. I don't believe you should just STARE in there eyes when someone is talking to you but you should have eye contact and try to talk with your eyes. I know people who when they look in my eyes its like I'm looking at someone whose dead cause he's just staring. Just relax, your body will know what to do if you have confidence.

hey pal, you're gonna have alot of problems in the future if you don't start looking people in the eyes. honestly. they won't bite... nothing wrong with looking people in the eyes... and yes, it's a respect thing. you're being rude if you're not looking at people when they talk to you. take a few looks while they speak... look away... look back. do not need to stare.

if you can't do this... you won't be too sucessful with women either. big no no.
work on it man!

but the thing is i have a i dont give a **** mentality and i talk to any girl in the club...but i just blunt and tell them i want to dance with them..at the momen t i have a girlfriend of 9 months....but just in general i really cant look someone in the face..i get kinda weirded out..whats the pattern for talking and looking away

There's nothing illegal about looking at someone. Nothing bad can come of it unless your looking at gang members girlfriend or giving someone a "hard" stare.

Just think that you're looking into their sould and try to think what they are thinking about at the very moment that you are staring at them.

You should practice making eye contact with people, nodding at them and saying "hi" as you're walking past people. Do this every chance you get with people you don't want to meet. Eventually it will become fairly comfortable to do that for you. Once you've mastered that, then look for opportunities to start conversations with people you have no interest in really meeting. It's easier to practice on strangers you don't care to meet because you won't care or get discouraged if they don't respond well. If you do this you will find it easier to approace girls you're interested in and you will look more natural doing it. Good luck.
