"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

It's that time of the month again. (No, not like that!) It's that time where I start getting random texts and phone calls from an unknown/unfamiliar number. I look at them confused at first, then I realize the area code is familiar a long with the rest of the number, then I put it together.. ahhh, it's the good 'ol BPD ex.

Seems like she tries to talk to me every single month. Despite me ignoring all her messages for over a year and a half, she still tries. Last night it went something like this.

BPD Ex: hey, sometimes I can't help but feel like I miss you..

No answer.

BPD Ex: You know what, you are the most stubborn person in the world.

No answer.

I did a little research on facebook (have a fake account, as I don't use it personally) and found her. Sure enough, she has a boyfriend. The same guy she got with quickly after me and has been with him for over a year.

A little shady to me. Having a boyfriend.. and trying to contact old ex's.. I bet her boyfriend wouldn't like that.

All the more reason to confirm that fact I should had let her go a LONG time ago. She was probably pulling this same sh!t while she was with me too. Lol.

So let that be a lesson to you boys.

And if your BPD ex hits you up to talk, ignore her a$$. It's only bad news.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Bipolar disorder?

Anyway, i've had a similar thing an ex of mine keeps trying to contact me for like 3 or so years whenever she comes back to town for sex even when she has been engaged or has a bf. She did recently and I noticed on her facebook it no longer had 'in a relationship'.

I asked and she said she was still with him. Funny. She wanted to be in a relationship with me straight away when I first met her, told me she loves me very quickly. And like a month ago she was saying "I'm so glad I met (boyfriend) he is my everything." Now she is contacting me.

Confirms why I said no to a relationship. I learnt alot just not caring and her telling me stuff after that.

But anyway, this time I told her that it isn't a good idea. I did it a few times and felt bad. It was interesting being the guy who when she was with the 'nice guy' she would contact me for sex.

No Borderline ......

Just found out today through my sister that was what all the broke NC thread was about earlier.

She broke up with boyfriend, phoned me, no joy there, and guess what got back with the old boyfriend as she couldn't hoover me in.

same old same old scars, they never change..

Too true. The hoovering attempts seem to be coming more frequently lately. I'm predicting her and her boyfriend aren't doing too well and they may have an extreme blow out soon. They moved half way across the country together. I guess there's a little trouble in paradise.

Your world flips upside down when you become the guy women are cheating with. (Not that this was the first time anything like this has happened of course) Or just being an outsider with outside information on a couples disturbing love affair. It makes it extremely hard to trust any b!tch these days.

I don't think this ho will ever let me go. Probably because I was the only guy who never put up with her sh!t. I'm going to be 50 something one day, living in a new location, new phone number, maybe possibly a wife and kids.. and I'm going to get a knock on my door from a private instigator. Lol. I swear to god, you know they're crazy when they just don't give up.
