I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

I've been making a lot of progress thanks to this forum so thanks a lot. I've been lifting "correctly" now for about 4 months and I've just started again after taking a full week off to rest. My last three workouts though have been really tough to finish because I've been getting lightheaded for some reason to the point where it feels like I could faint.

Is this just because I took a week off? Diet mess up? this did not used to happen to me and I've been lifting heavy and hard for a while now.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Have you been pushing the leg workouts?
I've known people to get lightheaded and pass out during or after a leg workout because they are pumping so much blood away from their head. possible.

Lately I've been experiencing something that might be similar. While doing my dumbbell squats I get this pain in my head maybe halfway through the second set, and it stays for a number of minutes. It feels kinda scary.

Sounds like your blood sugar is low.

Take a peach, plum or banana to the gym and eat it half way through.
