What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I love how the ignorant wannabe UFC/MMA fans thought that just because Chuck Liddel is champ in the UFC, he'll beat Rampage who kicked his ass 2 years ago. This is their reason for Chuck winning... "Chuck Liddel improved from 2 years ago" well let's see, Rampage ALSO IMPROVED as a fighter... lol This will shutup all the stupid UFC fans who think PRIDE sucks. Too bad Rampage isn't the top lightheavy weight, Shogun and Wanderei is better than him. I hope Fedor comes in and takes the heavyweight, that way we can have 3 PRIDE FIGHTERS AS UFC CHAMPS! That would be so embarrasing. If Fedor doesn't come, Crocop will do it. His last loss was luck, he was expecting the kick to the body but it was actually do his head. I also agrued with boxing fans who hates MMA, I think it's so funny that just because UFC is gettin more popular that they resent it. ESPN is even having articles about it now, ya BANDWAGONS! Just like Nascar and Poker... not a sport, but still part of ESPN... for the money. The only upside of UFC coming to ESPN is maybe the show will be FREE instead of pay-per-view.
^^^ I wouln't say that shogun and wanderlie are necessarily better. Rampage was in bad form back then, especially in the shogun fight with very low confidence. He has improved alot since then and imo opinon will keep improving since he has changed training camps! (He used to train with amatures until recently).
BTW how on earth is it embarrassing that Pride fighters come over and win the titles??If they do so then they are then UFC fighters fighting in the UFC. That makes the UFC look good, especially since Zuffa owns Pride now. And FYI, not all the pride fighters have came in and dominated in the UFC; the UFC guys have held their own:- cro cop got ktfo (no fluke as gonzagez had a suberb gameplan and looked very solid)

-Nick Diaz left UFC to go to pride and first match he beat the "unbeatable Gomi"

How on earth is it embarrasin? That's like a canadian team coming the NFL and winning, it shows how much PRIDE is better than the UFC. I was complaing on how there's IGNORANT UFC fans that think all Pride fighters suck, when there's better fighters in PRIDE. Doesn't matter though cuz UFC bought out PRIDE. UFC hasn't held their own, wtf u thinkin? Chuck Liddel BLEW in PRIDE and he went to UFC now he was champion until ANOTHER PRIDE fighter came and stole it. Let's see here EVERYONE thought Rich Franklin was GOD until PRDIE Anderson Silva came and knocked his teeth out. OK a few points...
Number 1: When chuck went to pride he got beat by ONE FIGHTER ONLY..Rampage! He is the only pride fighter to beat him, he didnt 'blow' in pride, he got to the semi finals of the LHW GP after beating Overeem. Very commendable considering he was carrying his injury.
Your anti-ufcism is very closed minded. Yes pride may have had the deeper talent pool back in the day, especially in the HW division, but as im sure you now know that is no longer the case. How can it embarrassing for an EX-pride fighter to come into the UFC and do well under UFC CONTRACT?? IMHO that looks good on the UFC as they have acquired the top seeds!
Number 2: You are still ingnoring the fact that the UFC fighters have, all in all, performed just as well in head to heads against pride fighters. Let's recap;
Nick Diaz BEAT Gomi (UFC1) Silva BEAT Leben, Franklin & Lutter (Pride 1)
Jeff Monson BEAT Fugita (UFC 2) Quniton BEAT Chuck twice (Pride 2)
Arlovski BEAT Werdum (UFC 3)
Gonzagez BEAT Cro cop (UFC 4)
Liddell BEAT overeem (UFC 5)
The results clearly show that the old UFC, which had an arguably shallower talent pool, has performed at least as good as Pride when going head to head. The NEW UFC is clearly stronger than the old UFC with some its best old fighters now facing challenges from some of the new UFC fighters! EXCITING TMIES!
Number 3: Just because Shogun beat Rampage doesnt mean that he could beat Chuck. We all know that MMA math doesnt work out as styles make fights! Shogun IMO will get exposed very shortly, i don't see what all the fuss is about. I hope Soko knocks him out in under 2 minutes :box:
