Letting someone down easy???

This girl that I hang out with sometimes (have banged a couple times too) sent me this long message this morning. Falsely claiming that I was trying to get her to open up (which I haven't been), and apologizing for showing a lack of affection (which is good by me). She then went on to tell me that she hasn't been open about her feelings because she's afraid of rejection but that she likes me a lot.

Anyway, I'm really not that into her, and at the same time, I don't want to string her along. I suppose I'm going to have to let her down, preferably lightly.

Any ideas on dealing with this. I'm not a fan of hurting people's feelings but think that this needs to be dealt with.

If you like her company and she's still up for the odd bang, just tell her she's a cool girl but a relationship is not on the cards for you right now. But if she's going a bit emo on you and you don't want to deal with it, cut her loose but do it the way a girl would do it to you.
