"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I've been Facebooking a girl I met almost a month ago. She offered me her number the first time I ever hit her up (Facebook'd her after the bar, didn't get her number but we hit it off well so I decided I'd try adding her). I text'd her that day just to initiate phone contact and so she'd have my number.

Fast-forward to today, its been almost a week since we talked. Last time we did it was over Facebook, a conversation I had initiated, and everything was chill (probably the most interesting and fun conversation I've had with her).

Now, the moral of this entire thread, when I told her I had to leave, she responded with "text me" to which I responded "no" and then told her to text me instead. She didn't seem happy about it but she agreed and that was that.

Now, looking back, I'm wondering if that was the best approach. Had I just gone with it and told her I'd text her, I'd be the one in control. I've backed myself into a corner now and don't want to spark up another chat on Facebook since I insisted that she text me. When I told her to text me I was expecting 2-3 days, tops. She's a very attractive girl and goes out regularly, so I know she's not a rookie when it comes to playing the game. I get the feeling she's ****-testing and wondering if I'm desperate enough to initiate.

I'm not hung up on this chick, just curious if ya'll would have played it different. She's got until Sunday before she gets next'd.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

lol why would you do that... You should of just told her ya I'll text you... then wait a couple days and set up a meet. Saying "no" and then telling her to text you just seems weird...
We'll see if others agree with you. I can see merit in the play despite the fact that it may not work this time. If anything, I've made it clear that I'm not a puppet and at the same time she made it clear she's interested on some level.

Meast125 is right homie. you were doing too much. Overdoing the gaming. All you had to do was hit her up and set up a date. You NEED to go on dates focus on that and make the date FUN so she would want more. Also you gotta be spinning plates bruh. Meanwhile your waiting for her.. you should be setting up dates with other plates.

MAN WHAT THE HELL!

Its our job as men to initiate conversation
Only girls with weak game will initiate texts frequently

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I agree with the previous posts, you were probably trying to be too much of an alpha male.

Forget that macho bull****. Nothing wrong with texting a girl first.

I appreciate the replies, everyone. Interesting forum ya'll got here.

She has initiated before, a couple of times, so I didn't think much of it. Looking back at it now, I'm confident this same line would have worked had she been a 6-7, but she's not.

You should always make the first moves, you're the man and if you don't do it, don't expect her to do it, unless she is one of these really aggressive women who go around pursuing men.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
