"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Reason i am asking this is many times i smell my self and ask if i stink or if my breath is in good shape. Sometimes if i think i dont it brings my confidence down because i smelled some people that smelled bad and promised my self that i will not be that guy. I guess i am self concious when it comes smelling good so i would like to know what you guys do to make sure that you DONT STINK

I usually Get up
Take shower
floss
Brush teeth
put on deodorant

I heard some people shower before going to bed and when waking up... i dont do that since i dont think its really necessary to shower before going to bed.

Also, how often do you brush your teeth. I do 2 times before going to bed and after.

What kind of deodorant do you use. I use axe sometime but most of the time i only use Gillette stick

I dont use any cologne

I just want to see what you guys do so i can make sure i am being as clean as possible and smell as fresh as possible

Also do you take anything for bad breath other than normal brushing and mouthwash. I find my self chewing on gums many times because i fear my breath might be stinking. And lets face it we have all been near someone that has had bad breath and well you know how turned off you got especially if it was opposite sex.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Showering once in the morning is fine.

Anything more and you'll probably dry your skin out.

That is unless you work out regularly either cardio or weights or both in which case you would then be justified in showering twice a day.

I shower in the evening.
Deodorant in the morning.
Brush teeth twice a day.

I don't moisturise or floss.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Should I use Axe? I normally don't use cologne (deodorant only) but if i want to smell nice, should I use Axe and which one should I use?

Where do I buy one?
The only places I can get to where I live w/o a car (can't drive yet) are Ralphs, Vons, RiteAid, some banks, my house, school, and that's it.

i was concerned about bad breath as well. What I do is brush my teety, then use a tongue scraper (or a popsicle stick) then I gargle with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water.... like half a mouth full.

I still use mouthwash as well.
