Master Don Juan
what is your worst bad habit?
this **** kills me, I dont' know why I do it. I out thinking, and over think myself out of critical situations. I will have something that works, figured out, and then question myself on that, then question myself on why I am questioning myself only at the end of the day, to come back to the same conclusion that i originally came up with lol. over and over and over again only the difference is I 've wasted a day.
I remember about a year ago, with horse racing, I had, over about 2 years of stat keeping figured out, that my ROI on dirt races was about even,b ut my ROI on turf races was off the charts. I ws actually losing money on dirt races, but more than making it on turf races. I mean, the data right in frotn of me, 2 years worth, clear as day. So I decided like any smart guy would, let's just focus on the turf races. Well that lasted for about 2 days utnil it rained outside and I got antsy becuase all the races were washed off the turf lol and I said well, maybe it's the type of horses and not the actual surface ,and low and behold now i'm wagering on races that are on turf, and off the dirt/ sloppy tracks only, long story short, after about 2 weeks this, I came right back to the same conclusion that i originally came up with, that was proven. Every good conclusion has to have a supporting thesis, and mine was that the way I handicap just isn't condusive to speed biases, and that's what you get with dirt track. it's not so much that i was picking the wrong horses, it's that the best horse doesn't always win in dirt, becuase of speed or lack of speed or whatever, where turf races are more fairly ran (for the most part)
