"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I recently broke up with my girlfriend...She claimed that she was not feeling ready for a serious relation and she recommended that we should just be friends...
From her reactions I understand that she wants to be with me but "something" is pulling her back. She also told me indirectly, that she had a quarrel with her borther because of me. Since then she is not returning my phone calls or messages, even though we met a couple of times after we broke up and it was obvious she still had feelings for me. The thing is that I am getting sick and tired of this situation and I want an opinion on how to react from now on.Should I keep trying or let it burn?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Walk Away

If she had feelings for you, she wouldn't be putting you through all this **** would she?

UNLESS being her 'friend' allows you to meet new chicks for conquest, she is not worth investing your time in.

Dude, just leave man.

There's so many chicks out there. There's so many things to do, so many things to experience. Why are you bothering your time with a BAD experience. Just tell her you agree and then relax. Cool off from the datting scene until you get your bearings. Come back with somethign better.

Too many guys go through the "let's be friends" break-up scenerio but they all think it's different. After your first one, you will see that it's all the same.

LET'S JUST BE FRIENDS - I do not want a romantic relationship with you. At all. But at the same time, I don't want to hurt your feelings or suggest that you are a bad person or unworthy of my company entirely. You know, because I want everyone to think I'm a great humanitarian who's nice to everyone. Besides, by leaving you on the periphery of my life, when my NEW boyfriend rejects me, I can get a self-esteem boost by seeing how you're still around for me and that I'm still desired by men, even if I would never hook up with them again.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Right on the money, squirrels! When she breaks up with you -- sorry, when she converts the relationship to "let's just be friends," she's only telling you that to convince herself she's not a bad person.

But every AFC thinks he's different, the girl's different, and the situation is unique. Well, he's not, she's not, and it isn't. The AFC says to himself, "She's sincere. She really likes me as a friend. What we had was 'special,' and in time she'll realize that and come back to me. I'll just hang around until that happens."

Guess what? It ain't gonna happen. Look, it didn't work the first time. Why do you think it's going to work the second time? And why should you give her the satisfaction of pulling you around on a string? Because she's the only girl out there? She's the best you can ever hope for? Then it's unfortunate she doesn't think that about you.

You went from high status with her to low status. Meanwhile, some other dude took your place. Would you stay at a job where you got demoted? I wouldn't. I'd go somewhere else, even if I had to start out at the bottom.

I see so many guys saying, "I want to stay friends with her so maybe she'll hook me up with some of her other hot friends." Get real. You're really only hoping she'll feel something for you again, but you make the excuse so you don't feel like a total pvssy. Besides, why should she hook you up with her friends? 'Cuz she feels sorry for you? Is that really how you want to get with other women, through the pity of a former GF?

The only thing, the ONLY thing, you can do is walk away. Completely. No calls or emails, no 'chance' encounters. No nothing. It's her loss, man. Ironically, a month or a year from now she may realize she did make a mistake and try getting back with you. Then it's up to you whether you want to get back with her -- on your terms. Personally, I wouldn't even make the attempt. That train already left the station and she missed it.

Harsh, but true! Walk away now and maybe then and only then she'll come to see your value.

Being around for her, hoping to get back together, just allows you to be taken for granted or treated as a backup plan.

Let me fix this up a bit. She actually DECLARED (not claimed) that she does not want to have a serious relation specifically with YOU. If the right guy comes along (maybe he already has) she will be all over him with the serious relationship talk.

She didn't recommend that you should just be friends, she gave you an ultimatum. Either accept being her friend or if you can't deal with it then its goodbye forever.

Chicks who are in love with their boyfriends rarely ever let their brother change their mind about them.

She is not returning your phone calls because you are no longer on the priority list. She has found other things to do, probably hooking up with a new boyfriend which led to your departure. In most cases women rather have something then nothing.

She doesn't have feelings for you anymore! I don't know what she said or how she reacted (sad face?, tear on the eye? hmm if she was really sad to see you go SHE WOULDN'T HAVE LET YOU GO!! think logic here) but her actions speak otherwise.

Walk away cut off all contact and never look back.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
