"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

ok long story short met this chick that was working at a store in the mall (polo store). she was decent looking. she helped me out and was sort of flirty but i was acting all calm and collected. i might be wrong but there was attraction i think. she had me fill out a "form" for my info so she could contact me when something i want comes in. i had a feeling i couldve gotten her number the first time but i didnt. she called like 30 minutes after i left to follow up. then she called a week later to see if i found something online yet. the second time she was like oh you dont have my cell phone number here it is. i said i will let her know if i find something. so today(friday) about a week later im at work bored of my azz and text her with the intention to ask her out. (cant call and ask a girl out over the phone at work)

me: hey so and so its blah blah
her: (she basically is confused or is acting like she doesnt remember me) 95% she knows who i am.
me: the blah blah that wanted the black sweatshirt
her: blah blah blah blah
me: geez i cant even talk to you anymore caues you dont remember me
her: its on the tip of my tongue
me: haha how many (my name) have you given your cell phone number too in the last week?
her: i know a lot of (my name) i usually write it on the back of my business card. (here shes bs)
i stop texting her for like 5 minutes by now im like fvck it it aint happening.
her: oh i remember u all laid back and casual. i got engaged two days ago!!
me: thats cool your engaged, hahah you thought i was going to ask you out or something?
her: just excited
me: i dont asks girls out i meet in the mall ---->neg
her: (like 5 minutes later) basically she gets all defensive and says whats wrong with blahbb labhbahal
me: its not bad not my style though
her: ur from so and so right?
me: yea
her: so hows work?
me: cool
me: it was cool talking to you lol i was going to buy something today but ill let you know if i do.
her: ok ill be at work 2morrow
me: ok

that sh!t about the engagement was so funny. i think i should said right after do you always assume your customers are going to ask you out? everytime i stopped texting her she would text me and she was at home i think too. she ive also admitted yea i was going to ask you out she most likely is not engaged shes on the younger side i think but i was like wow she is seriously bsing. i think i know what went wrong but i need your opinions. i aint going to try with this girl again ill just take whatever i did wrong as lesson learned

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Yeah, I think the engagement thing is pure BS. Based on your post I think she gave you a few opportunities and you didn't follow up on them.

When she had you fill out the form, you could have said something like "you know, if you wanted my phone number you could have just asked for it"

Then she called you 30 minutes later... "What? miss me already?"

Then she calls again to see if you found anything. Who does that? I would say something like "damn you either really need that commission or you're stalking me."

Those are just a few off the top of my head. I'm sure you could probably think of some better things to say, but you get the idea. She gave you opportunites and when you never followed through so she likely gave up on you.

I'm also not a fan of texting a chick if I don't know her well yet. I'd save that until after the first date or two. But that's just me.
