"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

So we're all busy during the day time and its rare that I will ever be able to answer a girl's call, let alone have time for a conversation. I expect women to be almost as busy as I am. As a result, when I call, I don't expect them to pick up during the day time for whatever reason. My concern is that I don't want to sound weak when leaving a voicemail, where I tell them the reason I am calling for: asking her out on a date.

"Hey this is Alpha. I was just calling to check what your plans were for Sunday afternoon. I want to go to go the museum and want you to join me. Call me back when you get a chance."

I feel like because we're all so busy with our lives (school, work, family, etc.) it is very difficult to talk on the phone. It is way easier to text and set up a date that way. Unfortunately you can't gauge the tone, pause, "hmm", "uhhh"s through a text, which are indicators of interest, or rather disinterest.

Please advise great DJs.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

"Hi, this is Darth. I hope you are well today. When you get the chance, give me a call back. I want to see what your plans are for the weekend." click.
Personally, I would wait to ask until I was actually on the phone to propose a date.

I wouldn't ever leave a voice mail. If you leave a vm you have no way to come back from this if she doesn't respond.

Also leaving a vm means you are waiting for her response. Don't leave a vm, she gets a missed call and maybe if she is interested this has some mystery.
