During my AM commute to work I always listen to the radio. There is a morning show in which the hosts attempt to trick a spouse of the person on the air because they feel they are cheating. Usually they're good for morning laughs, however this one in particular has a teaching point for everyone.

So here it is:

AFC calls into radio, states that his overweight girlfriend has been hitting gym hard, looking better, flirting with more men, and partying with her friends more often, not spending time with him. The radio show tricks her and indeed confirms she is having an affair on the air. The two argue with each other on air and when asked by the radio hosts, this is how she defended herself. Words verbatim:

"He is such a bore, all he wants to do is sit around and watch Netflix. Yeah, I know he thought I looked good even when I was overweight but that's not the life I want. I dont want to settle with some guy, I want to look good, have an exciting life, and date hot men".

AFC was devastated as expected. Lesson learned. Gentlemen, no matter how much you think she'll appreciate you, it never truly ends up that way. If you wish an LTR, you must constantly re-seduce and keep her emotionally invested. If you drop your value, she -will- find another.

What the hell is the point of a relationship if you Are just going to stay in and watch TV ? I can do that alone. Taking your LTR on dates like when you first started dating, constant flirting and just acting like ****ing 12 year olds is the way to be.

I think it is the result of people settling or believeing once upon a time that getting that attractive woman would give them success, then they slowly find out it didn’t make much of a difference. They never know that the love for life is ignited from within.

It's regretful, but intimate relationships seem to be temporary these days. It's mainly because people now have so many options, they can always attempt to upgrade. It's not what I prefer, but I am just playing the game. You have to get in the mindset to treat them like entertainment. Because, these days, that's the quality of woman that is out there.

This is actually the norm. these days. When my ex-wife withheld sex, I said we have a problem here. We need to work together and fix it. I will not stay in a sexless marriage. I tried everything, she wouldn't budge. About a year later, I filed for divorce and kicked her out of my house. Other women start to play that game, I gave one warning, and some came back on program others I just left. I do not do power struggles in relationships. You want this, I want that. We work together or I am done. When either party is not getting what they want, it's bad. Men usually want to work it out, women, however, will tell their friends and family, but not their partner. Weird way how a woman's mind works nowadays.

I dont think it should solely be your responsibility to keep things fun while she does nothing and pretends to have no agency. Nor do i think we should take her 100% at face value.

Did she try communicating that netflix on the couch is lame? How often do they go out, is it infrequently or is she just complaining that she has idle time she chooses to use to cheat 2 days a week? Etc.

It's likely this guy is a lame AFC who fvcked up, but it's pretty likely she put no effort in then found a new man too

I do not think so. Most men who I know who are married issues with their wives. Many of them, along with their spouse are waiting for the kids to go off to college before they divorce. Some enter into an open marriage, but most are afraid (rightfully so) of getting divorce raped through the courts due to alimony and child support.

My marriage was short, about 1.5 years, and the divorce took another year to finalize as she fought everything. She got nothing due to the no kids and short marriage statute in NY. Though, both lawyers made out like gangbusters. She paid around 12k for a lawyer, I paid around 18k since I was the plaintiff and the one who pushed for the divorce. She was also left hurt financially, I was fine. Before everyone calls me mean and heartless, I offered a walkaway divorce uncontested for 400.00, of which I would pay. She decided to fight. My retort to her was fine, we will do it your way, the hard way and you will lose. She lost in terms of money and security. Received nothing. Some woman are blinded by their own foolishness. She's now living in a small apt. in a bad side of the city. It's a big fall for a woman in her now early 40's.

Don't do this. Do not marry or even co-hab without a legal agreement with two lawyers and a videographer. No law says you need to get married to have kids. If you want kids so bad, you could always adopt or hire a surrogate. Both are better options as you will never have to deal with the family court system. Family court is kangaroo court against men. Rarely do you leave in tact.
