Learn a new language or no?

Hi, fellow DJs. I dont know if anyone have posted this topic. I am currently seeing a few young ladies at the moment. Most of them speak English as a second language. I dont know if I am really impressing the ladies with the phrases I am trying to learn in their language. Is trying to say something nice and flirtatious in their language an AFC behavior or just a game a junior DJ like me should play?

I got to tell those who are learning a phrases in another language, it is fun and sometimes, it is a real turnoff like getting slap in the face.

Is it worth the troubles to learn a phrase in a foreign language so I can impress a girl?

Being bi-lingual myself (soon trilingual) i must say that knowing 2 languages is the sh1t.

However, if you havent grown up knowing them both its going to suck a$$ for you.

quad lingual and it works great. Learn a few funny phrases from your friends. It works rather well.

Yep, languages are the business. I've got French, German, Russian, and a smattering of Serbo-Croat.

In any case, you are just increasing the available pool of women by learning a new language. After all, it's pretty hard to pick someone up without speaking to them!

What do you intend to learn BTW?

From anyone who has tried this, how hard is it to learn spanish from scratch?

Spanish is relatively easy in the beginning, but the grammar becomes confusing with the time.
However, it's easier than French.

Well, I am abilingual American with English and German and I can attest to the fact that it is easier to pick up european chicks from knowing 2 languages. Not necessarily german ones, but from all over europe and even from ukraine and russia, although they usually already know english first.

It makes them feel more comfortable knowing that I speak german I think....

I speak German as well, not fluent but enough to get by. As far as my experience with German girls, most did not seem to give a damn or were not impressed that an American was able to speak German.

Ozzy boy, the best way to learn is to get your arse over there. That is the mistake of my life that I did not study or work abroad!

cyrano, I want to learn Russian. I think it does help you score better because only you and she will know the meaning. For example, I learned how to say "how are you?" in Russian. I said that to this Russian hottie from class. No one knew what I was saying except the Russian guy also in my class. The professor didnt know what I was saying but he made fun of me.

I did got a very nice response out of the hottie.
