It’s not just a female problem either, I see it rampantly on this site too. Everyone just has a Disney view of relationships and it leads to constant dating or divorces. Chasing the “spark” can either lead you to a single for life path or in a toxic relationship with a narcissist psychopath. Dropping a girl because the honeymoon phase ended will lead you to a single for life path or in a toxic relationship. What can we do about it? Not much because it takes both parties to compromise to make a long sustaining healthy relationship. If noone doesn’t want to put in the work/risk then there’s no investment at all.

Any relationship can work if the 2 parties are trying to make it work and understand that "infatuation" will be gone after a couple months (These are things that must be paid attention to and discussed within the first couple months when choosing to be exclusive). If that's not understood, then either person/both people will keep going through the same rotation which will ultimately lead to one being miserable and lacking a sense of fulfillment because people tend to focus moreso on the present/at the moment rather than the future. As long as either partner doesn't do anything that totally dismisses them from the relationship, fights are normal and should be dealt with in a collaborative manner to achieve growth. It takes 2 to tango.
