Are Ukrainians attacking oil refineries? Yes. Is it affecting Russia's oil refining capacity? To some extent. Enough to create fuel shortages for the average consumer? There is no evidence of that.

You guys have to stop with the black and white thinking, regardless of which side of this conflict you sympathize with. Russian, Ukrainian and Western media all lie. I wouldn't trust the likes of BBC and CNN any more than I would trust Pravda. You have to use your own brain every once in a while instead of blindly accepting everything the "western media" tells you.

Assuming all media is biased, that doesn't have to mean it is all 100% false. If it did, there would be no value at all to any of it. In fact, if you were trying to lead people in a certain direction of thinking...which is the definition of the much-maligned word "propaganda," then the more truths you include, the more effective it is.

I like this guy for entertainment value. I think bias is fine if you don't try to hide it.

Is this a temporary situation or a permanent fuel crisis? I would bet on the former. Russia has a massive amount of oil and dozens of refineries. It is virtually impossible to destroy a refinery with drones. You can do some damage and night time fireball videos sure look impressive. But then it gets repaired and is back online a few days or weeks later.

What I find more interesting than attacks on Russian oil refineries is the fact that the Russians could not knock out Ukraine's electrical grid despite bombing the sh*t out of it for several years now. Goes to show how robust the Soviet-era electrical infrastructure is. One can't help but wonder if the North American grid would be able to withstand the same kind of punishment.

As far as Russia taking so long to finish it. There is another side of the coin, NATO taking so long to supply this circus. Weapons, mercenaries, advisors. The very moment Russia finishes things in scenario you are thinking, that is the moment Ukraine becomes NATO. The basic idea is to prevent that. Russia is not in the hurry.

That said, situation dictates collapse of Ukrainian war machine, similar to operation Overlord and Barbarossa.

It is already collapsing.

That picture you posted of the drones on the boat was badass. Do the boxes around the drones serve as Faraday cages? How do they open the boxes remotely?
