"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Good day, my fellow e-pimps.

Last night my 16 year old cousin and his 11 year old cousin and I went to a rollerskating rink (coolest place to go, right!) where we were planning on playing a good game of air hockey and laser tag (ironically we didn't want to rollerskate. Partially because my leg was messed up). Well when we got there we had to pay $7 to get in! WTF. So we scratched the laser tag idea (we didn't have a whole lot of money) and just decided to only play air hockey. Now when we get in we notice that there are a LOT of hot chicks here. But then we decide that we want to just settle this whole air hockey supremacy that me and my 16 year old cousin have. So no cold approaches.

So we go over and start playing. Like 20 minutes in, we have a small group gathering around the air hockey table and start a competition. Soon enough this fine ass chick comes in (who looks 15 but turns out to be 13... I'm 16. If there's grass on the field, play ball!) and starts watching us. So I start talking to her and ask her if she wants to play and she says she does. She then asks if she could see my cousins IPod (now let me tell you a bit about my cousin. He is what we would call a redneck. He has a giant ego and is generally an annoying jackass...) my cousin says she can listen but she can't see his ipod because he's protective about it. The chick continues to ask but he says no. She then hits him playfully. And we're like wtf is this chick doing? She just met us and she's already punching us. Doesn't that seem a bit weird (attention whorish? or maybe she's just really into us?)... And she does it to me quite a lot later on... But anyways, I then acuse her of trying to steal the ipod and she gets all playfully defensive.

A bit later, we walk off to go sit down somewhere and see if we can screw around and get in this playpin. (unfortunately you have to be 12...). And the chick follows us! But she's looking out at the skating rink, not at us, but it's obvious what's going on... A bit after that, while we're chilling out, the chick disappears. Then later on, while my cousins are out playing arcade games, I come back to the hockey table and there's 2 guys and that chick there playing. She then says "at least these guys let me play with them" (we didn't have a game with her) with a playful smirk. So I smirk back and so we start playing air hockey again. This time the group gets to be like 10 people strong (which is a good size for one air hockey table). So I start flirting with her and get positive results. A bunch of **** happens, her friend comes over and plays with us, I kick ass and get my ass kicked... But then we get some competition. This other guy starts talking to the chick and her friend, and soon enough he's out there rollerskating with both of them. We ignore it and continue our kick ass competition. She comes back, same **** happens. She steals the puck I try and get it from her, the game turns kind of gay becuse everyone's cheating... Eventually the place is closed and we're done. Then I decide to get the chicks number. So we're waiting outside and she comes out and gives me hug. Now when I try to get her number she hesitates a little bit but does cough it up, albeit hesitantly (her friend gives me the last digits). But when she drives off, she and her friend wave at us.

I got positive reactions to everything I did, and she was looking at me often as ****, so I'm sure it's just a grudge. But it's possible she's just an attention *****. Right? Although now I'm not sure that the phone number is correct because I was so concentrated on whether I should repeat the phone number with a changed digit to make sure it wasn't fake, so I wasn't 100% paying attention. We'll see when I call her tomorrow... :woo:

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Yeah, she sounds like an attention *****, with no intention to actually get serious with you. However, just give her a call on Tuesday or Wednesday (not tomorrow) and make plans for the weekend if you can. If she says yes, then make sure you still have backup plans, because in all likelihood she will flake. Be prepared for it.

Well here's the thing. I'm not entirely positive that I wrote the number down right, and I'm not entirely positive that I know her name. I think it's Erin, but I got it right before I was about to blow her off, but decided not to. So I wasn't concentrating on her much. And she doesn't know my name...

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Alright... so I called the chick. And the only thing I got wrong was her name... DAMN IT!

So I call her and she says I have the wrong number, so I'm like "my bad". But then I recognize her voice... so I call back and I'm like "I just called you. Did you meet someone at a skating rink on saturday?" and she's like "yeah, who are you". So I'm like "well I'm him". And she's like "I've gotta go". And I'm like "oh I'm sorry." (****! it slipped out!). Then she's like "it's ok, but call me later". So I'm like "ok, but what is your name?" And she's like "Heather". End of conversation. So she apparantly she was busy. She's lucky I'm in a good mood...

BAM! SHOCKALAKA! :woo:   :trouble: :cuss: :cheer: :box:

I can't believe I've been signed up here for almost 2 years and I'm still posting help me threads... jesus christ...

yeah I know. I am a retard. But I wasn't paying attention, God damn it!

Anyways, so she calls me back like 5 minutes later and I talk with her, and her friend is in the background. She's apparently going to this concert on saturday, so I know I'm going. Then she ended it with "I'm gonna go eat so I've gotta go" and I'm like "alright, maybe I'll call you tomorrow" and she's like "ok, bye." But I can tell she's still interested!

You should have been the one who had to go. Was their a lag in the conversation before she said "I gotta go?"

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Don't call her tomorrow, even if you said you would. Wait at least a couple days.

no, the conversation was going smooth. I'll call her tomorrow just to tell her I'll meet her at the concert.

So she calls me at like 11:30 when I'm ASLEEP (and her friend left). And she's like "I'm bored" (well why don't you go sleep, retard?) and so we have a short conversation and I end it with an "I gotta go, but maybe I'll call you later".
And then I get a text message apparently 15 minutes later (I fell asleep) that says "Hey! it's Heather from the skating rink... duh!" Which I haven't responded to.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
