What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

It depends on your laptop. My laptop has an HDMI out that connects to a TV's HDMI port. You just need an HDMI cable and those can be purchased very cheaply online. Don't buy one in a store. HDMI transmits audio and video in HD so it is really simple.

If you don't have an HDMI out, you may still be able to connect a monitor cable to the back of your TV if it has a PC Video in, input. You will also need to have an audio cable going from your labptop's audio out to the TV audio in. It will be a single hole.

For ease of use I recommend HDMI out, if your laptop supports it.
