* Have you always had low pressure out of it?
* Whats the pressure like everywhere else?
* Do you have old galvanised pipes?
* What do you mean you "failed" at unscrewing? Do you mean the filter at the end of the nozzle? If it does actually screw off, try again. Did you use the right tools for the job to get it off?

oh dude, you do have calcium build up in your aerator.
look at your faucet, you see the very end of it where the aerator screws off, use pliers and turn left. once it comes off you can look inside for all the calcium buildup and you might be able to clean it out without messing it up and be able to reuse it , and you might have to replace it. they are cheap anyhow.

pk is right. Grip it with channel lock pliers. You can get a cheap pair at most 'Everything is $1' stores. Once you get it off, you'll see that your screen (aerator) is clogged. Screen are cheap, too. They sell them at the hardware store.

if you damage the aerator end piece with the channel lock pliers, no worries, because you can go to any hardware sort of place like home depot and but five new end pieces with screens for about two or three bucks.
well i may be off on the exact price since the economy prices has risen.
sometimes when you put them on you do it so tightly, you really do need pliers and put some muscle into it to loosen it.
