If you think that you might be in the friendzone with a girl, or maybe borderline friendzone, but you are trying to get out of it, and you end up kissing and/or making out one night, does this necessarily mean that you are completely out of the friendzone?

No, it's actually common sometimes for longtime friends to just start making out in one night of passion, but they'll usually talk about it the day after and assess what they want done.
