"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I broke up with my girl for a couple of months and during the break up I kissed one of her friend's. Now I'm back with her and I don't think her friend knows yet. I'm unsure if she'd tell my girl if she heard I'm with her.

Now I want to be proactive. I know, I was single when I did it but fact remains it's her friend so it changes the dynamics. I imagine if she did that to me then I would forget about her and my buddy.

Should I tell my girl? Or should I just play it cool if it comes up? Problem is her friend would have texts from me basically proving that something was going on.

If I tell her, either when confronted or whatever, what line should I stick to? It'd be easier if it wasn't her friend lol.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Don't tell her.

1.) She may never find out. Then you just forget it happened and no harm/no foul.

2.) She finds out and doesn't care or even bring it up.

3.) She finds out and gets pissed and you say "I was single."

Do not be proactive about it. You were single at the time, so it's nothing to do with your gf.

If she does bring it up, be totally unashamed about it. You did nothing wrong, so do not in any way act like you did.
She doesn't own you, especially when you were single. If she's not mature enough to handle that... well, you already dumped her once.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Okay thanks guys. I know that what I did wasn't wrong in any technical sense but like I said, considering it was her 'friend', I know the heat is a little hotter. I'm just going to ignore it all and hope that her friend has enough wits to her to not prove to my girl that she's no real friend of hers to begin with.

I was out with her last night and she brought up a story which involved the friend and I thought that it was going to go down the path of questioning me as so many girls like to do but it didn't.

Cheers

Not a big deal.

What about the 3-4 guys your "gf" had SEX with during the break up? Does she feel the need to explain herself too?

I wouldnt even respond because there is no question here to be asked. If it does come up its just because the other girl wants to create some drama in the hope you will break up again. If anything this will just be good for your relationship because you now have a fall back girl if your current gf incites yet another breakup.
