dont you guys think its bvllsh!t that the world has these Kings and Queens and all this sh!t and it all stays in one family??? thats complete bvllsh!t!! Getting to tell people what to do and call them your peasants and get to live in a fat castle and have people worship you because your ancestors named themselves King and Queen!!!

i have a feeling you wouldn't feel this way if you were a member of a Royal family. These days absolute monarchs are pretty much gone defeating much of the wonder of power and jealousy in my own mind.

I'm not positive as to what you're getting at, but nowadays monarchs are more of a symbol than as anything else. They have no real power, and the only reason they receive funding (such as the British royal family), is because people haven't voted to stop the funding. Mostly due to national or cultural pride.

you know, a couple hundred years ago, there were folks who did not like being ruled by a monarchy, a king or a queen.
they yearned to be free.
they yearned to make their own rules and laws to live by.
they yearned to believe in what they chose for religion instead of what someone else said was the only religion.

they were smart and brave enough to travel the adventure that led them to america, where they were able to get away from all the bonds of monarchies.

once they got to america, they had to be quick on their toes to learn to survive, and they had to be tough when they fought wars to stay free, when certain monarchies tried to follow and take their new found land.

thomas jefferson once wrote that all men were created equal, that they are endowed by their creator, and they have certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
read the declaration of independence.

that is why in america, we have no monarchy, no kings and no queens. we vote our representatives into our government with elections.

The gouverment has the most. The king just need to sign a paper and that's it.
