Hello. I recently read this amazing book and was inspired to condense and share part of its' valuable ideas here. The book definitely has depth and many of the concepts in it are connected with the masculine psyche and (un)consciousness.
The extracted text below is a simple way of viewing the 4 archetypes (K,W,M,L). See each one as a different type of energy that you are operating from. It's good to mention that none of these energies work well alone, and they have to be combined.
Please, keep in mind that these may be out of context, and If would want to learn more, I recommend you investing the time to read the book, definitely worth it. It's actually a small one, and you can even find it as an audiobook for free. I've found many new perspectives and even things that I have to keep in balance or work on (shadows). The whole process is very self-evaluating, and that is something golden!

The Shadow Energies of the King:
- Tyrant: Hates/Fear/Envies The New, because he sees is at a threat ; Not Generative ; Not Centered ; Destructive ; Exploits , Abuses ; Ruthless ; Rage ; Hates All Life Energy ; Deeply is Insecure ; Very sensitive to Criticism (even if putting on a threatening front)
- The Weakling: Seeks Too Much Validation ; Lacks Security, Centeredness and Calmness ; Paranoid ; Fearful ; Hostile ; Corrupted by Power
Warrior: Action ; Courage ; Clarity of Thought ; Knows His Limits and Death ; Decisiveness ; Not Overthinking ; Self-Disciplined ; Skill, Power, Accuracy, Control ; Responsibility for His Actions ; Loyal to Something Larger than Himself (cause, religion, nation etc.) ; Emotionally Detached (yet generous) ; Destroyer only of what needs to be destroyed, in order for something new and better to appear ; Devotion ; Self-sacrifice ; Energetic ; Persevering

- Sadist: Cruel ; Insecurity ; Violating ; Humiliating
- Masochist: No Boundaries ; Doesn't Know When to Quit ;
Magician: Drives our Own Modern Civilisation ; Shamans, Medicine men, Wizards, Witch Doctors, Scientists, Technicians ; The Knower ; Master of Technology ; Initiate of Secret Knowledge ; All Knowledge That Takes Special Training to Acquire is the Province of the Magician Energy ; Knowing of Something That Others Don't Know ; Can Think About The Non-Obvious ; Seeing Deeply ; Prophet ; Awareness ; Insight ; Clarity of Thinking
Shadows of the Magician Energy:
- Manipulator: Doesn't guide, but directs in ways that others can't see ; Manouvers people by witholding information ; Thinks too much ; Using knowledge as a weapon to be in control ;
- Naive/Innocent one: Wants the Power of the Magician but doesn't want the Responsibility of it ; Envy ; (probably the type of Nice Guy, who deep down is not kind, but just manipulative while displaying a facade) ;
Lover: Has Appetite for Life ; Aliveness ; Passion ; Sensitivity to the Outer Environment ; Noticing Colors, Sounds, Tactile Sensations, Smells ; Sensual ; Sees The Interconnectedness of The Universe and Conscious ; Connected Through Feeling ; Connected to The Fire Element ; The Source of Spirituality and Mysticism ; Doesn't Like Socially Created Boundaries ; Artist ; Having Hunches (a feeling of something or about someone) ; Creative Energy ; When We Stop Doing and Let Ourselves Just Being

- Addictive Lover: No Limits on Sensitivity and Pleasure ; Can't Stand Boundaries ; Lack of Discipline ; Authority Problems ;
