Ive had alot of success chatting to girls about old kiddies tv progs and ads from when they were young...

This has the effect of allowing them to regress to a period of (presumable) happiness, lowering thier guard.

Not only this but it will make her laugh and strike a chord with her in that you both have the same sense of humour. The fact that you remember something that she remembers about her childhood is gold.
