"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

"frienemies" aka friends that are kind of like your enemies too. it's like the saying, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

What do you guys think of the concept of "keep your friends close and your enemies closer?" Is this a good strategy to have in life?

Me personally, i dont agree with having "frienemies" but i'm trying to understand the whole concept behind it. And maybe there is some good to it afterall.

need advice. thanks in advance.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I believe this quote is from The Godfather Movie. Don Corleone passed on this piece of advice to his son Michael, when Micheal became a freshly minted Don.

I believe this quote has some validity to it, when the stakes are life and death or huge business deals with shady characters.

I can't see it being applicable to sarging women. My $.02.

I think it does apply. It's kind of like the whole don't burn bridges philosophy.

I made several enemies last year, girls I dumped pretty rudely (they deserved it, trust me), these women run in my circles and now whenever they are around I get a bad vibe and I have a feeling they occasionally badmouth me to other women and hurt my chances.

I could have just been nice to them and possibly kept them as future allies even though inside I would be disgusted by them, and I'd probably be better off if I had.

Law 2: Never Put Too Much Trust in Friends, Learn How to Use Enemies

Be wary of friends— they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical. But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. If you have no enemies, find a way to make them.

What do you mean your former enemies have "more to prove" , I dont get that.

Also, this seems quite interesting, is there a link for all these "Laws" ?

You say to make enemies? I wouldn't like to do that? It's true, the hiring part. They have more to prove that they are trustworthy to you know. But in general, I am not sure...

That's a great link, Rollo. Thanks for posting it.

The 48 Laws of Power are applicable to nearly everything one does in the real world, including seducing women! It'd be wise to live by those laws. :)

Be wary of friends because they will take advantage of your TRUST.

I've been fukked over 100x more by friends than by enemies.

I think there is another way of looking at it. I learned that in life when you become successful and happy you create by no fault of your own envy and jealousy by those who are not successful nor happy. Its a dog eat dog world out there and the more meat you grab to feed yourself the less meat is left for others and someone is not getting piece who think they should be getting (example: If you go to a club and end up picking a hot chick then there are at least 20 guys in there who were vying for her attention and now they are going home with their d1ck in their hands and hate your guts because they think you don't deserve this. They are also jealous at your success and instead of pointing a finger towards their own lack of game, they point the finger of hate towards you.)

I remember when I was really an AFC, I was afraid to step on people toes and I tried to be kind to everyone and put their needs and wants before mine in hoping that they will turn the favour and be nice to me as well. What happened was that no one hated be but most of them ended up stepping on me like a doormat and I got picked on for their own amusement. Its when I started to be selfish and look after myself and my own needs its when the tide started to turn and I when I started to have a success while other fails, I started seeing the envy and hatred towards me. In order to be successful you will get enemies whatever you like it or not, it comes with the territory. If you don't want to be successful, you can be Mr Nice guy and watch everyone else become one.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
