so I am watching the draft here and on commerical break they show this commercial where this 30ish year old dude is sitting on the swing talking to this little girl and he tells her how he is so happy to be able to marry his mom, and he is happy to have her in his life as well and breaks out this kay necklace and gives it to the daughter and it matches the one that he bought the momma.

**** made me want to throw up. sucking up to single mommas and throwing gifts and prizes at women with baggage.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Got damn. I haven't watched tv in about ten years and this reminds me why. Garbage. I might just boycott Kay for the rest of my life now too.
