You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

The problem with hypergamy is that most of life is based on luck. A women goes around...... la la la la, oh he's rich, he has status, oh that must mean he has good genes, I should mate with him.
Take a man who has had nothing from his birth vs a guy who has had everything. Obviously guy 2 will have better success in life, but i doesn't make him a better man.
If Hypergamy continues as is we as a society will continue to become more stupid. Unfourtantly as a scoeity we are going to have to pay for all the bad deceison being made.
