I have had GREAT success from POF by doing 4 simple things.

1) Having great shirtless photo of me at the beach etc. (not a mirror pic) every photo I have is me doing something athletic and shirtless (I am ripped up so they view me)

2) I have a CRAP TON of interests including dancing, cooking etc. things women wouldn't expect a guy to write.

3) I put an impressive/funny profile that I work for an entertainment company on movie sets and that I am so fortunate to work where I do etc etc. (its all BS but they don't have to know that)

4) My opening line is finding something FUNNY about there photos, or in there profile example "You love sushi, can longboard, AND CLIMB TREES!? You are just awesome! That one picture of you jumping into the pool is hilarious where was that!? 9/10 they respond.

You need to spend SOME time showing them you aren't trying to just get there number and meet up and fcuk. Act interested. Pretend you care.

I think your opener is entertaining, and I'd definitely answer it. Unfortunately for you, I'm not a HB8 on OKC.

One possibility is that you just haven't sent your message out enough times. From the other threads about online dating openers on SoSuave, it seems even the best ones get a 10% response rate at best, and normally much lower.

Another option is that your opener is amusing to men, but girls are creeped out about it. For one thing, why would a girl have a hooker in her trunk? I'm not even sure you can modify the opener sufficiently to get it to appeal to girls, and still retain its essence, but if you try, I suggest replacing the hooker part with "$1M in stolen cash", or something like this.

NaughtyNinja posted a bunch of openers that sounded to me like they could plausibly work, and he and a few others claimed they did work, so you might want to give those a try too.

I've found that the "clever" openers don't do it for me. The bland ones that say that I like a specific pic and hey what's up ... super boring... seem to get the most interest. Once you get "clever" it looks like you're cut-and-pasting and I think that's pretty bad.

Keep in mind that women receive "clever" intro emails all day every day. Chicks I'm dating have shown them to me. Every guy is trying to throw something out there that's even more of a funky hook than the previous guy. Gets tiring.

Too many people out there are going for the pre-made copy & paste message....as if girls can't tell that those copy & paste messages have absolutely nothing specific to do with their profile.

All you gotta do is write 1 or 2 sentences, specifically geared to something in the profile. "You like to go fishing? I could have used you on my fishing trip last week."

ANYTHING that shows that you're interesting and that you actually read a profile. And you don't have to go for the kill in the first message. I usually go for the number by message #3. Gotta show the girl that you're not just trying to scoop up numbers for online hookups. And besides, I actually like to know if the girl is "normal"before wasting my time going on a date with her.

You can send whatever you want, but if you don't have a nice body POF will not work for you. I have 5 other friends that do the same BS profile etc as me and we ALL get responses and meet up with these broads.

1) Put up your best ripped up shirtless pic 2) Pick out things in there profiles and pick on them or say how funny that is, or how you like the same thing!

Anything that has to do with multiple guys hitting on them, any type of sexual reference etc will be an instant no reply. I have personally asked girls from POF about what guys write them. Your above message is a no go plain and simple.

The system is that there is no system.

As Spiegel and I said earlier, the "system" is:
- using your best looking pics (preferably shot by friends. none of this "selfie in the bathroom mirror" stuff)

- writing something quick and funny from material on the girl's profile (none of this pre-made, copy and paste message stuff)

If you do it this way and fail, at least you gave it your best shot. Using the copy and paste method might COST you girls because they're smart enough to know that you've sent that message to 100 other chicks. Unless of course you're so handsome that they don't care.

So, there's your system. Also, my personal suggestion is to NOT ask a girl for a number in the first message. But also, don't get sucked into writing them 10 messages either. I usually go for the number by message #3.

I think they want something sincere to show their friends that; this guy is sincere, he is showing some effort into getting to know me, my value and confidence goes up when I talk to him. If you show you care, they will care.
