"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Lately as i have been reading this forum i have had flashbacks to when i was younger and growing up. I remember playing golf with my dad. I remember him always telling me always look other guys in the eye if you dont you come off as weak and no one wants that, same with girls. He would always tell me that no female is worth the **** shes giving you... there are billions of women in the world keep moving on, he would also tell me speak your mind no matter who is around, no one likes a yes man or nice guy. I also remember watching him at resteraunts and diners he would joke with all the waitresses and girls in the place, at the time i was embarrased because i thought it was rude that he was somewhat making fun of them but they loved it. He also always told me to believe that you are the biggest, strongest, fastest, funniest, and smartest person around and eventually you will carry yourself as such. Did i take my dads advice yes i did all throughout grade school and HS.. Gotmyself a Hot gf for 4 years and became deprogrammed. Now am relearning how to be a man. Sometimes you dont have to look to a website to find a real man, just look at the man that tried to raise you until you gave into societys myths, i will be talking with my dad more often.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Dude, good post.

Same here with my dad, I love him for it too!

My mom loves him to death, even though my old man doesn't take her sh1t.

Haha, when my parents divorced my dad moved 3 hours away to Toronto.. didn't really see him very much for a couple years but now I live here... and my dad is a ****ing pimp! He doesn't feel like the typical father figure he's really cool and gives me great hook up stories and ****. He's even been my wingman one night at a superbowl party in a big bar... It was great, didn't get laid but got three numbers.

My dad also has a ltr now, but he still shows me his game isn't shot yet. Its great to watch!

hm..

I think dads are the perfet role model for us...There are the only people who can teach us about our masculinity that we find missing these days...Considering most guys here are 18-25 our dads where born during the Vietnam era...so that means there still old school and not brain washed by the panssy a*ss media.

Its like having a DJ in the house all the time. lol

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Dude, a DJ doesn't do drugs, beat women or is a loser.
